Chemistry, biology and psychology can all be difficult subjects but with my lessons, I aim to help tackle the approaches to exam style questions, giving tips to memorising topics and hand made resources that I made in order for me to achieve 3A*s at A level. I would also be happy to teach these subjects at a GCSE standard, as well as offer assistance to those in primary school for SATS or 11 Plus, as I have been tutoring my sister for three years. Biology and Chemistry are branches of science that are tightly connected to how we live, our planet, and how we interact with our environment. As a scientist, it is important to be able to connect with the real world and how biology and chemistry govern parts of our world, from the things going on inside the human body to the very air we breathe. I will use my skills and experience, acquired over many years through extensive research and study, to explain and demonstrate complex aspects of biology and chemistry into relatable aspects of our physical world.

I provide 1 on 1 teaching on Brass instruments and / or Music Theory in the comfort of your own home. I strongly encourage my pupils to undertake study of Music Theory as part of their lessons alongside their Practical Study, as experience has shown many students attain Grade V ABRSM with no substantial previous knowledge of this area. As Grade V Theory is a requirement of the ABRSM before a student can be entered for a Grade VI examination on their instrument I feel that teaching the Theory alongside their instrumental studies assists in minimising the delay before a student can proceed to the higher examinations if they so wish. Further to this I believe it also allows them a better understanding of the music they are striving to perform. While I encourage my students to take the Grade examinations as a mark of their progress I am also happy to work with students who do not wish to undertake the pressures of certification but just wish to learn to play or improve their playing ability for their own enjoyment.
