Trusted teacher: Singing lessons (lessons for children below): Graduate of the Brussels Conservatory in jazz singing (Master), I sing professionally and am pedagogue for 20 years now. I offer private lessons and semi-singing in Watermael-Boitsfort (corner of the broom). Classes are directed to the desires and demands of the student. Here is what I propose ... Voice technique: through vocalizations and other fun exercises, learn to use your body and your voice in an effective and healthy way. Directory (or not): chosen by the student and the teacher. My preference goes to jazz and all its branches and roots (bossa, brazilian, blues, gospel, polyphony, ...) because it's for me the best training but I'm open and I sing myself (almost) every other styles ;-) Improvisation: the best for the end :-) listening exercise, creativity, self-expression, voice and musicality. Through very progressive and clear exercises, we will explore (if the pupil desires) vocal improvisation. Music lessons for children (from 1 year to + -6-7 years old): Animation of 30 min or 45 min (depending on age) with the same structure that remains, the songs change. Song or rhythmic activity to say hello Gesture song (fine psychomotricity) Songs with maracas eggs (keep a pulse, manipulate the eggs, work on coordination) Presentation of a musical instrument Song to be accompanied by children of different percussion instruments Song to move or dance Pre music theory or recognition exercise of noises or instruments (depends on age) Song to say goodbye

Trusted teacher: Note: ALL SUPPLIES & TOOLS ARE PROVIDED FOR THE STUDENTS FOR THE FIRST TEN (10) LESSONS — All canvas, stretcher-bars, panels, paper, brushes, pens, pencils, ink, charcoal, paints, varnish, etc. The finished artworks are, of course, your to keep. There are many ways to create a so-called "realistic" oil painting. And there are many visual tools that an artist can use to make a beautiful visual statement. Whether using thick impastos, thin washes of solvent-based color, bodied glazes, or mixed media elements, each technique can yield an engaging visual experience. Painting is, after all, a means of communication. In this course, we will begin with the basic ideas and techniques for drawing and painting forms as the eye sees them. You will learn every stage for producing aesthetically pleasing and technically strong oil paintings. We will discuss concepts and ideas for painting, developing different studies, stretching the canvas, line drawing, tonal lay-in, dead-coloring (or color block-in), and modeling the forms (1st painting, 2nd painting, and finishing). We will also cover the techniques of alla prima or premier coup (direct painting in one pass). We will also study the formal methods of composition, different kinds of perspectives, paint surface and paint quality (facture), and proportions. And, of course, we will discuss the use of varnishes, including the final picture varnish. Stay calm and confident if some of these terms are new to you. We will adapt the lessons for each artist. I will help you to learn, understand, and perform each step of the painting process. Whether you are a beginner, intermediate, or advanced painter: there is something for you!

Flute lessons ONLINE with Malvina [Brussels Flute Studio]
Malvina
A really good flute teacher who sets interesting challenges to motivate practising the flute every day and independently. She also has plenty of up-to-date ideas combining different material sources (including digitals! top notch teacher with IT!) according to my needs and interests. She teaches me a lot of very useful tips for my level and I can hear a clear difference from a lesson to another. Yet, no miracle either: you must practice! But with the right instructions, she can help you pass obstacles you may have thought they were impossible to overcome. And playing the flute becomes a mere pleasure and joyful challenge! Besides, she never allows you to rest in your comfortable zone! There are always plenty of interesting and useful things to learn with great pleasure rather than with pain and stress! Thank you so much Malvina! Looking forward to our future lessons!

English courses for all ages and abilities, adults and children (Woluwe-Saint-Lambert)
Peter
Peter is a great professional and I will recommend him to everyone who wants to learn or to improve the language. Peter prepared me for the interview for my dream job - I am sure if you are not a native speaker there is always a possibility for improvements :) He also gave me useful recommendations regarding the interview in general because he knows the system perfectly and reads between the lines. Peter adapted every class based on my needs and I saw the progress immediately. Important to mention it's obvious that he enjoys every class and really wants people to know his language :)

Apprentisage de la danse and learn couple / couple dances (Leuven)
Carl
Last year, at that the time my fiancé and I took waltz lessons from Carl for our wedding dance. It was a challenge to find dance lessons in Brussels because both of us are not Belgian and we don't speak either Dutch, or French. In addition, I am really not that good with rhythm when it comes to pre-set dances. Carl was very patient with us (me) and spoke to us in English. Not only he taught us how to dance waltz but also how to behave on the dancefloor as a couple. Everybody at the wedding was amazed of our waltz skills and they loved our wedding dance.
