This class introduces the Chinese language through basic greetings, writing structure, pinyin and vocabulary that are essential to basic communication. I've designed this course for those who have little or no knowledge of Chinese. The following topics will be covered in the lessons: 1. Basic greetings 2. Meeting new friends; 3. Asking about things around you; 4. Daily routines; 5. Family; 6. Likes and dislikes. While studying Chinese, you will be challenged to discover different approaches to viewing the world around both linguistically and culturally.
