I am a composer, pianist, teacher, and researcher currently based in Berlin. I hold a Bachelor's degree in jazz piano from the Conservatory of Vicenza, Italy, a Master and a PhD in composition from the University of Leeds, UK. In 2011, I attained a scholarship as promising student of the Conservatory of Vicenza. From 2006 to 2009 I was volunteer at a special needs-school, using music as a form of therapy. From 2013 to 2015 I studied Piano at the Conservatory ‘Prince Claus’ in Groningen, The Netherlands where I worked mostly as a performer. In 2019 my CD ‘Breaths’ was released by British label Another Timbre. My pieces have been broadcasted by Keith F’eM, Concertzender Radio, and Radio 3 and my scores have been published in IM–OS Improvised Music-Open Scores and THE MASS. I've been teaching piano, music theory, improvisation, and composition for 12 years now. When teaching I always attempt to organise targeted lessons that cover varying musical aspects depending on the students' skills and preferences. I teach either online or at my place in Berlin, Mitte.

Federico gave great jazz improv lessons and I learned so much each week. I had previous classical music experience and he adapted the lessons to suit my skill level and helped me improve a lot.
Very competent, friendly and patient teacher. Great learning experience!
