About Me

“De liefde voor Frankrijk werd me met de paplepel ingegoten. Niet verwonderlijk dus dat ik op m’n 17de naar Orléans vertrok, om daar mijn Franse Baccalauréat-diploma (vergelijkbaar met het Nederlandse Atheneum) te behalen. Ik woonde in een Frans gezin, wat mij een unieke kans gaf om het Franse leven van binnenuit te leren kennen. Terug in Nederland studeerde ik Franse Taal- en Letterkunde aan de Universiteit van Leiden en werd ik beëdigd als vertaalster Frans.”

Sindsdien is Corine zo’n 20 jaar werkzaam geweest in verschillende marketing & communicatie-functies (bij Citroën, Akzo Nobel en Robeco), onder andere in Parijs. In 2004 besloot ze om terug te keren naar haar eerste liefde en zo begon ze met het geven van Franse les.
In de loop der jaren gaf ze les aan senioren, (jong) volwassenen en zelfs kinderen van de basisschool, individueel of in kleine groepen. Het plezier in het persoonlijke contact met leerlingen en het delen van de interesse voor Frankrijk en de Franse taal, hebben ten slotte geleid tot de oprichting van FrancParler in 2009.

Bonjour, enchanté ! I am a French native speaker and I would be extremely happy to help people learn it. Since I do not speak Dutch, the only thing you need is English (or French)!

If you have a beginner or intermediate level, this class is for you! During the class, we will go through your difficulties with French grammar, vocabulary, writing, reading, spelling, or pronunciation. The class can also be a simple conversation for you to keep practicing. For each class, I can prepare a certain amount of exercises - depending on the student's needs and the workload. These exercises will be corrected together and some more exercises can come out to master some rules.

Ideally, because of the COVID-19 situation, lessons would be online. However, if it is really necessary face-to-face meetings could be feasible!

Private tutoring classes for young children, teenagers, adults and seniors who would like to:
> Learn Italian, French and/or English from scratch
> Do homework with the support of a tutor
> Improve and perfect their language skills (speaking, writing, listening and reading)
