Advanced piano teaching technique from my own learnings of some of my great teachers; Boris Petrushansky (Imola Academy), William Grant Nabore (Como Academy) & Aleksander Madžar (Royal Conservatory of Brussels)

Classes are available in English, Dutch, French, German and Chinese. Our working method is very rigourous. We work bar by bar with a high level of attention to detail to ensure that the music you learn becomes a part of you. My responsibility is to help you prepare for challenges such as auditions, exams, concerts, etc.

Lessons available at home, online, or your home (up to 20km). Make sure to bring your own scores or pieces you are currently working on. Additionally it’s possible to consult me for which books to use.

Learning to play the piano is like learning another language, it is the language of the body in harmony with the music.
I teach my students to have a musical thought to better understand the technique and I work on body gestures to make it easier to adapt to the instrument.
I can learn to read and write music, have notions of music theory, play classical music, songs, movie music, ...
I have a Master in Solo Piano and a Master in Chamber Music from the Royal Conservatory of Brussels.
I also have a musical diploma of the regional conservatory of Paris.

Can I introduce myself?
I am Marc pianist and sound engineer.
I started my piano lessons with Leo Caerts jr. After secondary school piano in the municipal music conservatory of Leuven and private lessons from Erwin Deleux I followed the (Russian school) method. I am a student of A. Mogilevsky (student of the gifted professor Timakin) and Youlia Zaichkina. I also participated in masterclasses with prof. Alan Fraser and Fabrice Eulry and I perfect myself in classical harmony and composition with Erika Budai.
I give piano lessons classical and jazz / pop, jazz harmony, classical harmony and this for beginners as well as advanced and all ages. Highly sensitive people are welcome. The lessons are given in a very professional environment.
I would like to share my passion with you!

I also give house concerts on request.

I am a 32 year old pianist and I offer private piano lessons in a friendly and fun environment for children from 6 years old and adults, at all levels, in English, French and Portuguese. I have a lot of teaching experience (private lessons and music school in France and Brazil), and in the lessons I work on the musical language studied and the required technique. In the theoretical side, I prepared many students for their entrance exam to university in Brazil. I graduated in Master and Postgraduate in piano at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels (Koninklijk Conservatorium Brussel).

I have always been passionate about music, I play three instruments, and I recently finished my piano studies at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels in the class of Piet Kuijken. I have always found that the end goal of music was sharing, and that's why I orient myself strongly towards everything that is done in groups: chamber music, orchestra, but also teaching, via which I can also share my passion.

Harmony, melody and rhythm is what music is made of. That's all. Those three things. Although sometimes these things can be hard to distinguish. Feeling music is a completely different story though and is not something you can measure or maybe even define.

With understanding the basics or more profound structures in music you might find a new dimension with the feeling and appreciation you have for the sounds that you love.

Answers, exercises, solutions. We can find them together in a quest to find your questions about eartraining and jazzpiano. We can work on fingerings with exercises in partition, specific voicings, left- and right hand coördination, eartraining exercises from beginner up to conservatory level and more specific issues.

I studied three years jazzpiano at the Lemmens Conservatory in Leuven, Belgium and played keys in a pop/funk band based in Brussels for about the same amount of time.
Now i work in construction but still play piano everyday because music is beautiful!

Are you a beginner who has started to learn guitar on his own, and can't see the trees for the wood anymore? Or do you already have some experience and want to learn something new? Then you've come to the right place!

About myself:
I have been playing both guitar and bass guitar for 8 years. I also have a solid foundation in music theory. I took lessons with Kristof Neyens (rock school leuven) for several years, and now I would like to share my experience.

Classes:
Depending on your preference, we can draw up a lesson plan together with individual assignments. I also try to work as much as possible with the genres that you like to listen to yourself, this is of course more motivating (after all, you don't want to try to teach Mozart to a Metal fan ;))

My approach is certainly not like that of the 'music theory' at the academy. From your first lesson you will immediately start playing songs. I only use music theory if it is really necessary or if you would like to delve into it.

Practical:
I follow distance education so I can actually go at any time of the week, online lessons are also a possibility.
