As a vocal coach, I understand that it is important to develop a good vocal technique but also to develop self-confidence and mastery of oneself in order to be able to deliver the best of oneself in any situation. I deal with students of all levels and ages. I explore with them different musical fields according to their desires and affinities. My classes are a mix of technique, improvisation and practice. I really like the practice to include an element of interactivity with my students and so that they are able to come out of my lessons with mastered pieces, in their own way. Indeed, I also like to take the time to research with my students their own inner voices and talents so that they really find themselves artistically speaking; a kind of musical inner journey. Hello everyone ! I am 39 years old, I am a professional guitarist and graduate composer. My rich and varied musical journey, going from "Art Rock" to Classic, passing by French song and currently jazz allowed me to acquire a beautiful experience that I like to share with my students. When you are writing music, it is very important that you show your music to people. Someone with experience in composition, even better. It is sometimes difficult to take that step to show your pieces that you have worked hard on. But this is a very important step, it makes you more confident in your own piece. From then on, people can receive feedback and evolve further. In my lessons, I work mainly on structure and learning to compose. If necessary, I will also work on details, but first the idea and the form have to be right. Composing is an evolution and I myself am getting better every year. To compose better, thorough music theory is also important. Just as you can express yourself better with more vocabulary, you can write better music and translate your idea into notes better with more music knowledge. The importance of this is often underestimated. For me, music theory (all the basic knowledge but especially harmony and counterpoint) go hand in hand.

MY METHOD Depending on your musical desire, your request, your theoretical or technical needs, together we will establish a learning method that suits you, at the pace that suits you. I can advise you on jazz piano, classical piano, and other styles (variety, rock, Latin), in individual or group play. Improvisation, theory, harmony, learning by ear. I can also help you with musical composition (instrumental music or song), and the basics of computer music (Sibelius, Logic, Kontakt, Native Instruments). Max is a visual programming language to create audio (and video) art. Almost like with LEGO, you connect different building blocks with each other and create an audio (or video) circuit. I have years of experience in making programs in Max and want to share this knowledge. I start from the basics and make sure that the programming is also theoretically substantiated: I want you not only to put something in, but also to understand why something works. That extra knowledge helps you work faster as you move forward. For a program that focuses more on audio, I use Ableton. I have been using this program for my own music production for about ten years and know the program inside out.

One-to-one music lessons inspired by the teachings of Suzuki, Havas, Hoppenot, and Galway. The lessons are adjusted according to age, level, and interests. The most important is that the student will learn in an enjoyable way for them. It is only possible to take 45 min. lessons when the student receives more than one lesson a week -which is highly recommended for anyone that might want to become a professional musician. Lessons longer than an hour are also possible for anyone over 14 years old. Other possibilities, a combination of instrumental/theory lessons and prices can be discussed.

I have been practicing the violin for over 20 years, I have studied classical music throughout my studies and then studied electronic music and improvisation. At the same time, I studied music theory until I obtained my diploma. I am self-taught regarding the Ableton software but I have been using it for 8 years now and know it perfectly I adapt to each desire, each request and of course at each level!

The most important matter that I could write here about is my passion to teach. I've been teaching already for more than 10 years, from kids to adults. I'm a classical pianist, but I am opened to other musical styles.
