I am a professional vocalist with a lot of experience on stage (musicals, concerts, cabaret and music hall) and as a teacher. Graduated as Vocational Instructor in Italy and France at the School of Richard Cross as a vocal coach with a particular attention to the vocal technique, to the proper breathing of the singer but also to the interpretation and the good posture. my method is to advance students with awareness by giving tools and solutions very different and personalized but especially with patience, gentleness and a smile to discover and overcome oneself. Whether you are an actor, singer (all styles), or even a teacher, learning to use your voice is important to keep and use as you wish. Being able to project the sound without getting tired, to be able to use this internal instrument and to understand it are the bases that I propose to teach. Learn to know your body, to breathe and manage the breath, so you can sing, speak and express yourself freely. I have a master of lyric singing at the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Paris, and I teach on the basics of classical vocal technique.

My classes are different depending on your level and age. With children from 7 to 12, we start by doing easy vocalization and start training the ear with intonation, we then have fun singing your favorite songs. With teenagers, I also start with some vocalization, a little more elaborate. Depending on the student's capabilities, we start establishing a comfortable range for them and then proceed to singing. For my older students ideally, I divide our lesson into 2 sections. We work on respiration and how the diaphragm works. We do scales and arpeggios and work on intonation. We then proceed to singing and putting into practice our technique. Some students might need more technique before they actually sing, I like to take things slowly and make sure the student feels confident and comfortable singing. These lessons are for young and/or inexperienced singers. My lesson plans are tailored towards students' individual goals. For some, this may be learning and embodying an audition song for their school's upcoming theater performance, and for others voice lessons are a first step towards singing healthily in their church choir. In any case, I focus on correcting and building core skills necessary to singing one's best while encouraging and fostering creativity, accountability, and motivation. If considered for a long-term journey towards singing, I will focus particularly on classical techniques to build steady breath control, good posture, and proper vowel and consonant formation. Along with providing repertoire, if the student is ready and wants, there will be opportunities for vocal performance in the Santa Cruz area. I will encourage audio recordings in all lessons to help with future preparations. I will be assigning some homework after every lesson, likely a combination of vocalization exercises, dedicated sheet music practice, and theory homework (if needed). *My first lesson will involve getting to know the student, their goals, and some vocalization to assess vocal level. For singers with minimal/no prior foundational music theory knowledge, I may recommend time from lessons (15-30 minutes) being allocated solely towards foundational music theory learning.
