"Language learning" is a complex notion but also achievable through correct methods and strategies. I have been studying/researching how languages work in the brain and how people gain langauge skills. In my classes, I put these knowledge in practice and try to create the best learning environment for my clients.

Together we can discuss your needs and expectations, and construct our lessons accordingly. Whether you are new to this language or can already have basic conversations or maybe you want to learn more specific vocabulary and topics, all are possible!

Extra information

I have a Ph.D. in Neurolinguistics so I studied how languages work in the brain. I hold a BA in English Language Teaching and have teaching and mentoring experience with people from as young as 3 years old till 50 years of age. I have also worked and enjoyed every second of working with people with special needs, such as aphasia and autism.

Even though Turkish is my native language, my current primary tongue is English. I have lived abroad for over 5 years (and been actively traveling for 12 years), including a year in the USA and Australia.

About Me

As a Ph.D. candidate in Neurolinguistics, I investigated neurophysiological and psycholinguistic grounds of the language and examined the theoretical bases of the phenomena that I trained to treat as a Speech and Language Therapist. My further aim is to combine the knowledge I gain through research with clinical expertise to contribute further to the field language education.
