A-Level Physics class - Specific to the AQA course
A-Level Physics can be one of the most-challenging courses, with so much content and so many calculations to learn, so to help you achieve the best grade you can, I like to provide lessons tailored the areas you find difficult. I am a passionate First-year Medical Student at St George's University London, and took Biology, Chemistry and Physics at A-level, all of which I love the learning process of, which helps me enjoy teaching them even more.
I have a combined year of tutoring experience with people from a wide range of backgrounds and abilities, as well as having achieved an A* in the A-level myself, , illustrating my thorough knowledge of the ins and outs of doing well with this course.
Lessons start with an overview of the specification and identifying areas that you, the student, want to work on. Moving on from there, I like to teach the content bit by bit, with regular mini-assessments. I also aim to introduce real exam questions from an early stage, as getting the top marks is not only about content, but also being familiar in the way the mark scheme prefers answers to be worded and laid out. For the AQA board, this is all the more important, I'd even go as far to say that learning how to answer the 3 and 4 mark questions are the most vital part of learning this course. As a result, we will put emphasis on learning the content and exam technique of these questions.

About Me
Hi!My name is Gili and I am a 1st year medical student at St George's University of London. I am available to tutor all the sciences at GCSE and A-level, as well as the UCAT (the aptitude tests required by most UK medical schools) and medical school interviews.
Throughout my own learning journey, I have had a love for teaching, Originally this was because it helped me with my own learning, but I became interested in the way that people learn, and the how to tailor each student's learning experience to be the best for them - depending on how they take on information.
I aim to not only teach content and exam technique, but also instil the same passion for the subject within my students. In addition, I try to empower each student to be able to actively take a role in their own learning journey, so as to be their own teacher and gain skills not just confined to the exam itself.
That's not to say the exam isn't important! To ensure you can achieve the highest possible grade you can, I have a variety of tutoring experience, amounting to just under a year. This has been with students from a vast range of different backgrounds and ability levels, so no matter the way you learn, I will try and use my skills to work with you as a tutor.

Congratulations! You have an offer to interview at a UK medical school. Believe it or not, the hardest of the work is behind you. However, this is the final hurdle before A-levels, so being as prepared as possible for your interview is of paramount importance.
My class consists of sessions first covering some basic knowledge surrounding key interview topics such as professionalism, teamwork, communication and empathy, as well as a plethora of knowledge to help you understand issues within the NHS.
After these knowledge sessions, we move into practice interview questions, where you get the chance to practice your delivery and be assessed, so as to get you as ready as possible for the interview itself.
I am extremely passionate about all this content, as getting into medical school was a dream come true, so to help others do the same is something I will try as hard as I can to do. I will work with you at your pace and try to make it as specific as possible to the university in question.
A-Level Chemistry is tough, so to help you achieve the best grade you can, I like to provide lessons tailored the areas you find difficult. I am a passionate First-year Medical Student at St George's University London, and took Biology, Chemistry and Physics at A-level, all of which I love the learning process of, which helps me enjoy teaching them even more.
I have a combined year of tutoring experience with people from a wide range of backgrounds and abilities, as well as having achieved an A* in the A-level myself, with near-full marks, illustrating my thorough knowledge of the ins and outs of doing well with this course.
A-Level Biology is famously heavy on content, as well as having incredibly specific mark schemes. With this in mind, I aim to provide classes tailored for the parts of the course that you find more difficult, as well as prioritising learning the content and exam technique for the extended writing questions, which is where the marks are truly won and lost.
I have a combined 10 months of tutoring experience with people from a wide range of backgrounds and abilities, as well as having achieved an A* in the A-level myself, illustrating my thorough knowledge of the ins and outs of doing well with this course.

Moving on from there, I like to teach the content bit by bit, with regular mini-assessments. I also aim to introduce real exam questions from an early stage, as I mentioned, getting the top marks is not only about content, but also being familiar in the way the mark scheme prefers answers to be worded and laid out.

I understand that not all teachers excel in teaching Engineering and Mathematics courses and explaining their importance to students. Courses with strong mathematical backgrounds may become boring for students who lack a solid mathematical basis. To address this, I take a student-centered approach, starting from the basics to actively engage all students, including those with weaker mathematical backgrounds. I also provide practical examples to demonstrate the real-world significance of what they are learning, inspiring and fostering their interest in the subject matter.
If you have any additional questions before starting a class, please feel free to ask me. I am here to assist! :)

Preparation for TU Delft Aerospace Engineering entrance exam80% of my students got accepted in the 2025 exam, I am sure I can help you out in the 2026 exam!
TU Delft is Europe's most prestigious university for aerospace studies, preparing some of the best engineers. However the selection procedure is tough and demanding, and only those prepared have a chance to succeed.
As a TU Delft student, I know from first hand how stressfull this process is, and can therefore help you succeed in the preparation of these exams. I have previous experience as a tutor back in high school, helping students improve their grades from Cs to As.
Moreover, I have an extensive knowledge on the subjects tested on these exams, having taken them myself and having completed the courses at university with excellent grades.
Throughout the class, I will use a presentation to explain the main concepts of each exam (Maths, Physics and Aerospace Engineering), focusing on those subjects the student is struggling with most. After this, I will help the student complete some practice excercises, and then assign extra practice to complete on their own time. These exercises will then be reviewed in the following class to ensure the topics have been understood.
I am looking forward to help you in your journey as an aerospace engineer!
