In this lesson, we will learn the basics of Arabic singing, voice and breathing exercises, oriental maqams, and analysis of singing passages. 🎓📜 Master’s degree in Saxophone Performance and Music Pedagogy, Sibelius Academy 2025 🎓📜 Bachelor studies in Saxophone Performance and Music Pedagogy, University of Cologne (Germany) 2022 Diogo is a curious musician, being part of different projects such as the Kaamos Duo (contemporary music for saxophone and soprano singer), chamber music with pianist Lambis Pavlou and Cantus Portugueses (traditional portuguese music with a modern twist). He also plays as a member of the contemporary music groups Korvat Auki and the Nyky Ensemble. His main musical interests at the moment are the collaborations with living composers, chamber music with different ensembles, and interdisciplinary improvisation. Diogo performances have taken place in many venues such as the Philharmonie of Essen, OrchesterZentrum Dortmund, Music Center Helsinki, Turku Castle, Liceu Auditorium Barcelona, Casa da Música do Porto, and many more. Diogo's recognition includes prizes in some international competitions and the recent recognition at the 2022 Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy competition for Contemporary Ensembles and the recent participation at the prestigious Josip Nochta Competition in Zagreb, Croatia. Diogo teaches all saxophones and ensemble playing in Portuguese, Spanish, English and German.

The Tecla y Música Workshop is a space designed to learn and develop your musical and expressive sense through the piano and / or keyboards. The main objective is to learn to make music and enjoy the learning process and its results. The material with which we work (songs, instrumental pieces and exercises) is mainly oriented to your musical taste, and the choice is based on gradually expanding your technical and expressive possibilities, while exploring different musical styles. In this way, different tools are being incorporated to achieve, in a short term, mastery and fluency over the musical language and the instrument. Given that each student has different interests and concerns, whether playing as a hobby or developing a professional career, composing, improvising, etc., the orientation of the classes is built according to the possibilities and particular needs of each case. The work proposal implies a weekly class frequency to achieve optimal work dynamics and that the results are visible in a short term. There is also the possibility of taking isolated classes in order to solve a specific objective such as developing and perfecting some particular aspect of music practice and / or theory as well as preparing instrument exams or theoretical subjects for institutions of musical studies.

I've been teaching cello to children, teenagers and adults for 10 years, so I've acquired the necessary experience to be able to adapt to the different and personal needs and objectives of each student. My teaching methodology focuses on creating a friendly and relaxed environment (which does not mean undemanding!) in which students feel confident to express their own ideas and worries. Online classes via Skype or similar platform. Adrián was born in 2002 in Santa Lucía de Tirajana, where he began his music studies at the municipal school (Ateneo de Vecindario). At the same time, he trained with maestro Blas Sánchez at his Foundation. He completed his Professional Degree at the Conservatory. Music professional from Las Palmas de Gran Canaria with professor Fernando Bautista, earning a first-class honors in guitar in every year of his studies, as well as in other subjects. At just 20 years old, he made his solo debut with the Gran Canaria Philharmonic Orchestra in the Symphony Hall of the Alfredo Kraus Auditorium (Las Palmas de Gran Canaria), under the direction of Maestro Josep Gil, after passing the Audition for Young Canarian Soloists conducted by Maestro Karel Mark Chichon. He also participated as a member of the Joven Orquesta de Canarias in its 18th Meeting (2023), conducted by Maestro Víctor Pablo Pérez on its tour of various renowned auditoriums on the islands. He has expanded his guitar training by attending various festivals and taking master classes with guitarists such as Joaquín Clerch, David Martínez, Mitsutoshi Tanaka, Andrea Dieci, Gaëlle Solal, Javier Somoza, Enno Voorhorst, and more. He has also created the projects " Cuerdas Literatas" and "La guitarra de las Islas Afortunadas y de tierra Latinoamericanas." In 2024, he was selected to perform at the National Museum of Anthropology in Madrid as part of the renowned MusaE (Music in State Museums) project, which is part of the Spanish Ministry of Culture. He also completed his studies in Performance (Guitar) at the Conservatorio Superior de Música de Canarias under the tutelage of José María Ramírez, with the highest grades, having been awarded Honors in various subjects. He completed the Master's Degree in Artistic Teachings in Classical and Contemporary Music Performance at the Fundació Conservatori Liceu (Barcelona) with the renowned guitarist Anabel Montesinos, thanks to a prestigious scholarship from the MAPFRE Canarias Foundation. He has extensive concert experience and has won more than 25 awards.
