From 46 € /h
Hello,
I am a classical pianist from Romania with more than 15 years of experience in teaching the piano at a professional level. I teach at all levels and at any age.
The course can be given in English and Romanian! I also speak a little bit of Spanish, French and German.( I understand more than I can speak).
If you want to learn to play the piano staying at home, I would be very happy to help you to make your dream come true!
To play the piano is an amazing journey at any level! If we talk about a child, he will discover an amazing language to express his feelings and to build his self-confidence! Moreover, he will develop skills that will help him at school and in life.
If we talk about adults, they will discover a lot of amazing things about themselves, they will improve their learning and analysis methods and, last but not least, they will have fun!
What will you learn?
1. How to read a score.
2. How to play the piano like a professional.
3. What is behind the music? Structure analysis, the message (emotions, images, effects) how to express your own feelings and beliefs through music
4. How to prepare for performing on stage (if you like to do this).

About Me
I am a "product" of Russian school system due to the fact that in Romania it was and continues to exist the vocational school system, implemented 50 years ago, during communism. I am a follower of Heinrich Neuhaus traditional line (Gabriel Amiras, one of my teachers had studied with him at Moscow Conservatory for 7 years; when he return to Romania he created an entire Romanian piano school based on what he learned from Neuhaus.).
I am a teacher at "Ion Vidu" Music Highschool in Timisoara, Romania, one of the best vocational schools in Romania. To resume my activity:
• Most of the students who chose to continue their studies at Music University passed the admission exams
• All the students were involved in artistic events, according to their level (from minimum three times in a year to weekly performances)
• Most of the students had participated to regional, national or international competitions, being placed in top four.
• Over 100 prizes won in competitions (regional, national, international, online)
• Students were involved in social projects (performing in elderly houses or for children with disabilities)
• The best students were selected to perform to Enescu Festival (junior section), Bucharest, Romania, 2013, 2017
