Music composition
This module aims to develop the students’ compositional ability using a combination of key musical understanding and the practical use of music creation software. Students will have the opportunity to investigate technical and stylistic conventions across a range of contemporary western popular music genres and to study key elements such as chord progressions, structure, harmony and melody, to develop their confidence and own abilities in composition.

These sessions will explore musical composition techniques used in popular and contemporary music. The focus will be on deconstructing different works, exploring what their musical elements are and investigating what commonality these have across the boundaries of genre or instrumentation. Students will have experience of composing original musical elements and arranging these elements into complete compositions.

I am a fun-loving person and easily get along with students. I have been playing piano, guitar and composing my own melodies for almost 10 years from now. However, I strongly believe in giving back to society. Therefore teaching music gives a sense of relief and makes me start afresh. Because even we learn a lot from students. Opleiding

I did Bachelor's in Sound engineering and music production from point-blank music school, London. 2018-2020

Before that, I did Bachelor's in Architecture from Dehradun institute of technology, Dehradun. 2013-2018

I have worked as a studio technician in point-blank and Lynchmob studios. I have done background scoring for various short films. Currently, I am working as a background scorer in Sounds of Isha which is a very big organization with millions of followers.

You will learn mixed methods to write and record songs, make beats and mix them.

You will get an introduction to a variety of music software programs for music production such as Ableton Live, Garageband and Logic Pro X.

You will learn how to put down tracks overdubbed mixed, record songs and mix songs.
