Hello. I am a professional horn player and teacher with 30 years experience. I can offer beginner, intermediate and advanced standard lessons. I have a thorough knowledge of horn related technique and repertoire and am confident I can help even the most accomplished performer.
Lessons would be catered towards individuals, well structured and cover appropriate technical and musical needs. They would follow an individually thought-out programme of study and include repertoire and orchestral excerpts.

Hi, my name is Janus, I’m an experienced professional horn player and teacher with over 30 years of experience performing and teaching.
I’m an honest and reliable character who enjoys my work offering good advice to horn players of all standards. I’m patient and easy going and care about my work, with a proven track record of success.
I also enjoy the simple things in life: a nice walk in the country, a nice meal, good company, a fine wine, keeping fit and playing golf!
I also appreciate the arts and culture and the environment.

Education

I was educated firstly at Colne Valley High School in Huddersfield , then the Royal Northern College of Music in Manchester. I then went on to study at Manchester University.

I did a preparatory class for the grandes écoles, finished a master's degree in innovations with ISC Paris (business school) in partnership with UCC (University College Cork).

I worked in marketing for 3 years and as an analyst for almost a year.

Speaking fluently English and having already given French and mathematics lessons, I am available to give French lessons at all levels.

I am a French historical and modern horn player based in The Hague. I have played the Horn since I was 4 years old and I have two Master's degrees in modern horn and natural horn. I offer you lessons on modern and historical instruments, as well as music theory.

I work with all ages, all levels, and all objectives, and I can even work with other brass. If you want to discover the instrument or perfect it, if you need theory support or practice help, I will adapt my methods to your needs to offer you quality musical time!

I have taught children and adults since 2017, and I truly love leading people their way to enjoyable, musical, and informed brass playing.

My lessons include warmups, technique, working on pieces of various repertoire, playing in duo with me, and more. For music theory, I like to come up with playful exercises of my own according to the student's needs and level.

My name is Estelle, native French speaker and FLE teacher.
I graduated a Master 2 in commercial and civil laws and also got a vet nurse license. In 2004 I passed my ESOL, FCE Cambridge certification. Straight away after graduating I decided traveling, learning languages and discovering different cultures.
I've been traveling for more than 7 years in Latin America where I learned Spanish, in Asia, where I used to give English and French classes and I also lived a year in Australia.
I'm now helping people learning or improving their French by tutoring them via Skype in a fun and efficient way. For adult and kids living in the same city as me, I also offer one on one tutoring sessions :)

I believe the only way of learning a language is practicing it and if possible with native speakers, like this you can learn the real way to speak and all the slang! I also was a language learner and still am, so I exactly know what you are facing.
Learning a language is not easy but can be really fun. Once you speak it's not only words or expressions you'll master but also you'll get to discover and understand new cultures, witch is really cool! I really want to help you learning French in a relax but serious way with no fear of speaking and making mistakes.

I'd like to teach you French by talking about different useful topics (daily life, animal kingdom, sport, business, travels...) Like this, you can access the appropriate vocabulary and expressions and learn exactly what you need to know. It will help you in your daily life, with you colleagues or when traveling. Speaking about many different subjects seems to me a very good way to become fluent in any languages. You'll indeed be able to talk about everything very soon with other people. You'll be very proud of yourself, I promise.

Classes are for every level. It's a bit easier if you already speak basic French but, if you don't, no worries, I also speak English and Spanish so we can communicate together without any problem :)

During the conference, all questions and suggestions are welcome, a good atmosphere of study is essential. I do not search the time, readings can be extended if necessary and at no additional cost.
