Hello all! My name is Daria. I teach Russian (my native language), English (C2 certificate), Polish (C2 certificate/near native level), Serbian (C1 certificate) and Romanian (C1 certificate). I have been working as a teacher/tutor for more than 10 years. I do not only have excellent reviews from my students - I know that for many of them learning became a hobby.

Besides teaching, I have done a lot of translation (including published literary works), linguistic research and "field" dialectology. I also wrote and edited different kinds of text. So I believe to know languages as structures from every possible angle.

My diversified experience helped me to develop a teaching approach which combines scientific methodology with a lot of fun, improvisation and creative work. My students not only learn how to communicate in one of five languages I teach - they learn the culture and start to really dive into it.

Based on my 13 years of experience, I think that A1 level is a very important period in language learning. When learning any language, beginner level students should learn it in the correct order and important details should be explained well by practising previous ones. Students at more advanced levels, such as A2, B1 or above, also need to practice their skills at the previous level thoroughly to improve their language skills. I try to provide good teaching by paying attention to these important points in my lessons. I keep our lessons' notes in a word file. After our lessons, I send you back all the additional notes and exercises that we covered in our lesson as a Word file.
