English is a useful universal language that everyone should master from an early age. My lessons target each student's individuality, needs and abilities. My experience as an educator spans over 13 years and I successfully prepare students for all cerificates (B1, B2, C1, C2) and levels. Each student becomes adept at Listening, Speaking, Writing, Grammar and Vocabulary. I also have specific methods for learning disabilities such as ADHD, Dyslexia or Dysgraphia.

Hello! I'm Carolina, I'm 32 years old and I offer personalised English lessons for children and adults at home or online. English is a useful universal language that everyone should master from an early age. My lessons target each student's individuality, needs and abilities. My experience as an educator spans over 13 years and I successfully prepare students for all certificates (B1, B2, C1, C2) and levels. Each student becomes adept at Listening, Speaking, Writing, Grammar and Vocabulary. I also have specific methods for learning disabilities such as ADHD, Dyslexia or Dysgraphia.

Education

I may not possess any formal degrees in teaching besides my Proficiency (C2) from Cambridge university but I make up for it in experience and wisdom. I learnt that a successful teacher uses a variety of methods and improvises on the spot to match the
student's character, goals, needs and abilities. Everyone learns in different ways and pace especially when he deals with a learning disability. I strongly believe that with a great tutor, a motivated student and hard work anyone can achieve their goals

Born in France, I'm a French native speaker and used to teach French and Literature in Geneva through the organisation l'ARA. After one year in England, I'm fluent in English and got the Cambrigde C1 level (Certificate in Advanced English given by Cambrigde).
I'm here in Maastricht to do my master's degree in Human rights and besides I would love to teach and help children or young people to improve their language skills, as I have a very easy and good contact with them.

I tutor in French and English to a wide range of students, from beginners to more advanced students. The point for both classes is to give beginners a glimpse into the beauty of the language and to introduce them to the basics in an entertaining and enjoyable way. The ultimate objective of these classes would be to ensure that beginners, by the end of the lessons, have acquired fair understanding, listening, and writing skills. On the other hand, advanced students are expected to experience even further progress in such skills. It must be noted that I will try to give each lesson in the targeted language, privileging the latter as much as possible during the lesson so as to help the student dive into the language.

Learning languages can be done quickly enough while having fun. Having learned French as a mother tongue and having been in English and university schools, I learned in many different ways how to learn a language without being annoying.

at school, we never understood why we learned statistics. Yet, it is becoming a crucial topic in everyday life. I could give you French or English stats classes and teach you how to handle Excel and SPSS too.

I speak French and English fluently and used to do after school tutoring of various school subjects for children and teenagers. Learning languages can be a fun and interesting experience that will always be useful, and that's something that I want to share. I adapt my teaching style to different people's needs so we'd discuss that during the 1st lesson. We don't have to limit ourselves to languages either, I'm happy to help out with homework if you/your child has difficulties at school, so we can also do maths (to a relatively basic level), history-geography, etc.

From basic everyday conversation to writing formal letters, reading literature and books, studying at an international university, travelling abroad- English is a basic necessity. It is good to have a basic grasp of English and through fun stories, movies and activities, you can learn English!

English is one of the most popular languages in the world. In the modern age of globalism, it has been regarded as the most used language in terms of communication, let that be via emails, telephone calls, or letters.

My goal with this class is to make you comfortable in all forms of communication with this language, so you can communicate with colleagues, friends, or potential new friends in a social setting.

The main objective of this class is to completely remove the language barrier psychologically, so you can also think in English rather than just writing, listening, and expressing it.

I look forward to helping new students and contribute to their aspiration to learn a Language.

As a native speaker I would be glad to help anyone who is willing to improve their french and/or English . I can help with grammar as well as with pronunciation and conversation in general ! In the class i would prioritise conversation as it is the best way to learn a language .

MY EXPERIENCE
As a native French speaker, I know the beauty and poetry of the language inside and out, and I’m excited to share it with anyone curious to dive in. Since high school, I’ve offered private tutoring to students aged 10 to 17, helping them with everything from grammar worksheets and book reviews to philosophy essays and creative writing assignments.

As for English, I was raised in an international school environment where English was a core part of my education from childhood through high school. I earned my TOEFL certificate before beginning my current bachelor’s studies, which are entirely in English. I've also taught English with a focus on pronunciation, grammar, syntax, and practical communication skills.

TUTORING SET-UP
When tutoring, I place strong emphasis on tracking progress, often by assigning homework (if agreed upon) and creating clear, structured plans to help students stay on track. I’m always flexible and happy to adapt to each learner’s feedback and preferences to make lessons as enjoyable and engaging as possible.

I offer lessons online or in person—either at my place or yours. Thanks to my bilingual upbringing (with a German mother) and my French-German high school diploma (AbiBac), I can also provide instruction in German if needed.
