I have a degree in education and a certification in Teaching English as a Second Language. I tutor students online as well as through private in-person sessions. Hello, I am an English teacher with a certification in Teaching English as a Second Language from the United States living in Lisbon, Portugal. I love teaching and I have worked with both children and adults in English instruction. I believe that learning English should be interactive and interpersonal. Therefore, I provide a lot of opportunities for my students to practice and use the language in natural, interpersonal settings. We will work on reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills, and learn language necessary for everyday interactions as well as school-related or work-related language.

Recently graduated from a master's degree in international affairs and intercultural communication, I decided to come to Lisbon for 1 year.
I offer tutoring courses in languages (Spanish - bilingual and English - fluent) and help with homework.

I will focus more on the communicative part rather than the academic one, I will teach you how to talk in a regular basis, so it can be helpful for you the next time you want to travel. The way I teach is light-hearted and fun, I can use videos, music or anything that will make you fall in love with the language, sometimes I will give you fun assignements to do, which I am pretty sure you will love it.

I'm French but I studied in England and so I can speak both languages very well.
I can help with pronunciation and accent, with grammar and conjugation, but also with basic and advanced conversation.
I am interested in different cultures and therefore, I like to connect language learning with some cultural aspects.
