Latin is fascinating and, despite its reputation of being a dead language, it can still be useful today. However, being unique, it is not always easy to understand its grammar and syntax and translating from Latin can be hard. Having studied it since when I was thirteen and with two cum-laude degrees in Classics, I know Latin deeply. Moreover, I have experience in giving classes to high school students, therefore I am aware of its difficulties and I know how to tackle possible hurdles in the most appropriate way for each student. Apart from Latin, I am an Italian native speaker, trained in Italian language and culture. If you want to strengthen or practice your Italian, I am the right person! I am a native English speaker from Ireland currently studying MSc Psychology at Leiden University. I received a grade A1 in my Leaving Certificate English studies and my BA degree includes a specialisation in English. I also have experience teaching English as a second language in both Spain and Zambia. I am available for lessons after lectures and during weekends. The lessons can be held in a location that suits you or via Skype, etc. if necessary. These lessons can be for students of any level who want extra support in English acquisition or improvement. As the student you can choose which areas you would most like to focus on and I can structure the lessons with this in mind. I am an Italian native speaker with a bachelor in Italian Literature and Linguistics. In Italy, I usually teach English to high school students​, or adults who want to improve their skills with this language. Usually, I tend to use a non-academic approach, by focusing on the student's interests and make him/her applying the language to their everyday life, instead of simply learning the grammar rules by heart. In my opinion, learning a new language should be fun and easy, nothing too stressful. What you will get from is a new positive and funny way to learn a foreign language such as Italian or English.
