Learning the Dutch language is quite a challenge, because it is so much. That is why I work thematically and with a schedule. From experience, this gives students control and self-direction, and they are more likely to take the initiative to continue working on the theme outside of class hours.
My lessons always have the same structure:
- We start with vocabulary (and pronunciation),
- then spelling,
- sentence structures,
- you write a story,
- and end it with a dialogue.
This way you learn new words, spelling rules, sentence structure, writing and speaking every lesson.
The books I use to design the lessons are all recent and recognized.

I went to private school.
Studied MBO pedagogy. After that I continued my studies: the free school PABO. That is PABO with anthroposophy at university level next to it.

I attended the PABO private school part-time. This allowed me to work in education immediately alongside my studies. So I have been teaching since 2016.
