My specialities include the following: structural analysis; design using the five main materials – RC, steel, masonry, timber & prestressed concrete; mechanics of materials / solid mechanics; bridge design; technical graphics; concrete technology; construction; scheme design; fire engineering; maths; physics.
My tutoring philosophy involves patience, yet persistence. If it’s not working one way, let’s work at it together. If it’s still not working that way, let’s try another avenue.

Formación
I have a Masters in Advanced Structural Engineering from Imperial College London (2016), a 1:1 Degree in Civil Engineering from NUI, Galway and an MBA (Masters in Business) from Smurfit Business School UCD, Blackrock.
Experiencia / Calificaciones
I have over 25 years’ general experience, mainly in the design of building structures. I have worked in both Dublin & London. I have worked for TCD.
In 2020, I was a Leaving Cert Higher Level Maths Tutor with an organisation called Project Sums, which Senator Lynn Ruane is involved with. Tuition is held on a weekly basis during the school year in a few centres around Dublin including Trinity College.
I am both a Chartered Structural Engineer with The Institution of Structural Engineers in London and a Chartered Engineer with Engineers Ireland.
