About Me

I'm quite flexible with teaching and with my students. I adapt my teaching strategies to the needs of the learner. My aim is to help students find ways that can help them to eventually learn the language without much assistance from me. Once they develop that newfound strategy into a habit, I will facilitate learning by teaching them what they cannot learn on their own (since there are things one cannot learn from a book). I teach mostly through interaction, games and activities (which are mostly based on everyday life) and not so much through note-taking (except when necessary).

Education

All my education was done in Fiji where English is the medium of communication. I obtained my Diploma in Education (majoring in English and Social Studies) in Fiji. I studied Education to teach English and Social Science to junior high to high school students.

I taught English to 13 - 18-year-olds in Fiji for 4 years before moving to France. I have been teaching teenagers and adults here since 2018.
