I, a musician graduated from the Geneva University of Music with a Master's degree in Soloist and Master's degree in Concert Performance, from the Tchaikovsky Conservatory in Moscow, obtained a Master's degree in Pedagogy at Kalaidos University (Switzerland), and am a Solo Violist at the Fribourg Chamber Orchestra. Music theory, an essential subject to deeply understand music. As I am Hungarian, I studied the Kodály method. It is a rather special method which is characterized by a lot of singing, creativity and rhythmic games, which was invented for the education of the people, not for the musical elite. Its effectiveness is proven by many musicians who have grown up in this extraordinary system. During the lessons we would do several types of exercises: - listening exercises - writing exercises - sing songs, melodies, chords, intervals... (I am flexible regarding this subject, the student can advise activities/subjects (ex: history of music...)) The goal: - find the connection between musicality-instrument-theory - improve ear (absolute/relative), sight-reading, musicality, theoretical knowledge

Individual clarinet lessons for children and adults (all levels (English, German, Bosnian/Croatian/Serbian)). Available online as well! I believe that all knowledge comes with a price of a change which then provokes us again to start learning ourselves and finding the best possible ways of expression. On the other side, my pedagogical idea is to allow pupils/students to explore themselves and to give them enough space and possibilities to try out, risk, and eventually find their way of communicating. Also, my aim as a teacher is to show that the process of learning and exploring is always, if done properly, first of all, an exploration of oneself, and therefore, cannot and should not become a dull process of receiving information without an obvious purpose. My experience as a teacher has shown me that between very young (5-12) and older people (19-27), (the age groups with whom I have worked), there is actually no big difference and that the only thing which separates the teaching process is the approach towards them as personalities. With this said and including the fact that I am experienced in working with both groups of people, I over in my add lessons to everybody, without age or skill difference. I am fluent in all clarinets from the clarinet family including the baroque clarinet and the contrabass clarinet.

My name is Nikolai and I am a professional flautist. I have been in this wonderful field for 14 years and am always moving forward. I come from Saint Petersburg, where I graduated from the classical lyceum "Kikin Hall" and the Rimsky-Korsakov State Conservatory. I have been in Switzerland for three years and during this time I have completed Bachler classical music at the University of the Arts and am now enrolled in the Master Pedagogue at the HKB. I have been teaching transverse flute at the Schmitten and Niederscherli music school for 2 years and I have been teaching privately for 5 years. My course is extremely flexible - we can work with songs and songs you love, as well as the most difficult etudes and large repertoire pieces.
