ENGLISH LANGUAGE PIANO TUTOR I have been teaching piano to adults and children for the past five years. I am currently accepting students of all levels: beginner, intermiediate and advanced. I prioritise the comfort and interests of my student in my lessons, while teaching fundamental technique and theory to give you the flexibility to learn the music you want to learn. I have a Diploma in piano performance from the British ABRSM assessment body: the most exacting standard in the country.

Classical and Jazz Piano, and Composition Tutoring
I am a composer, pianist, teacher, and researcher currently based in Berlin. I hold a Bachelor's degree in jazz piano from the Conservatory of Vicenza, Italy, a Master and a PhD in composition from the University of Leeds, UK. In 2011, I attained a scholarship as promising student of the Conservatory of Vicenza. From 2006 to 2009 I was volunteer at a special needs-school, using music as a form of therapy. From 2013 to 2015 I studied Piano at the Conservatory ‘Prince Claus’ in Groningen, The Netherlands where I worked mostly as a performer. In 2019 my CD ‘Breaths’ was released by British label Another Timbre. My pieces have been broadcasted by Keith F’eM, Concertzender Radio, and Radio 3 and my scores have been published in IM–OS Improvised Music-Open Scores and THE MASS. I've been teaching piano, music theory, improvisation, and composition for 12 years now. When teaching I always attempt to organise targeted lessons that cover varying musical aspects depending on the students' skills and preferences. I teach either online or at my place in Berlin, Mitte.

[ENGLISH] I truly believe that good teaching starts with the maximal possible amount of caring about the student’s needs, point of view, practising sympathy and being able to see the world through their glasses at least as much as it is possible. The student can be just as inspiring for the teacher as the teacher can be for the student. When they happen to fit each other, their work bears fruit in no time! The lessons can be personalised based on your needs. We can discuss what you are interested in, what you would like to learn about from classical or jazz to popular genres. If you are ready to figure out what kind of journey and progress we can make, write me! Piano Lessons in Berlin by a german native speaker
(German version further down/Deutsche Version weiter unten) I enjoy teaching because it requires a deeper knowledge of the material than if one is only performing music. I am continuously learning too. I do not think that it is important how old you are or in what environment you grew up. To engage with music as a result of learning an instrument can bring your brain in a healthy state of ongoing change. People that are "without any talent" for music do not exist. Everyone can engage with music and enjoy it. I can teach Piano: - involving sheet music or not, depending on what you prefer. - or/and Music theory lessons - or/and Improvisation - or/and Jazz - or/and Ear Training - or/and Composition. The lessons can be held in English or German or a mixture of both. I teach close to Friedrichstraße in Berlin. The lessons can be done via Skype too. You can read about me as a performing musician here: Julius (*1995) is a German pianist and composer, graduated from the University of Arts Berne in Switzerland in 2017 with honors. In July 2019 he finished his Masters in the European Jazz Masters Programme through the Rhythmic Music Conservatory in Copenhagen with exchange semesters in Berlin and Amsterdam. Throughout his studies, he was lucky enough to receive artistic guidance by Colin Vallon, Django Bates, Harmen Fraanje, Simon Toldam, Peter Bruun, Greg Cohen, and Michael Moore. Julius was granted a scholarship by Lyra Stiftung Zürich in 2015 and 2016. Tours with his own bands have been supported by different fundings from Switzerland and Germany. He performed all across Europe during the past years.

Piano and Guitar Classes for Entry levels, Beginners, and Intermediates
I teach Entry level/Beginner/ Intermediate Piano and Guitar lessons with a focus on different styles, techniques, and rhythms from a broad base of musical genres. Classes are designed for aspiring musicians with some musical background and also those with little or none. Each lesson is designed to keep the student at the peak of their abilities by giving both challenging new pieces and reinforcing their own technical skill. I also put some emphasis on incorporating students' own personal musical tastes and styles to bring their passion to the music they want to play. In the first lesson, we can get to know each other and you can get an idea for how the lessons will be taught while letting me know what elements you'd like to focus on in the future.

    Dominyka
Singing Lessons with a Certified Vocal Coach for all ages and levels. Prof. voc. training for any style:POP/JAZZ/RNB/ROCK/MUSICALS/CLASSICAL
Dominyka is a singer and a vocal coach that is currently living in The Netherlands. She plays piano, violin and writes her own music. Over the past decade she had a chance to graduate from the Royal Conservatory in The Netherlands with Bachelor's and Master's diploma in jazz singing and pedagogical minor studies. She had a chance to be behind the scenes in various TV shows, win several vocal competitions, participate in various music festivals as a singer and she truly developed her ears and her knowledge that she is now also helping others to find their own unique singing voice. She has developed her knowledge about vocal technique, CVT method, stage presence, body language, story telling, composition, writing, improvisation, and so on... with various great teachers from all over the world. As well as, she had an honour to participate in workshops of Snarky Puppy, Dianne Reeves, Dena DeRose, Bob Stoloff, Norma Winstone, Fay Classon, etc. In addition, she took a course of Stevie Mackey, Cheryl Porter and had had lessons with Natalie Weiss. "I feel like voice is a unique thing and music is such a good therapy. I believe everyone can sing, and I believe that everyone could sing greatly if they are patient and put work in it." - Dominyka "I promise that with our singing lessons you will learn more about your own voice and that you will develop your own sound as a singer. We work on warm ups/warm downs, breath support, vowel placement, vocal effects, vocal colour, dynamics, articulation, stage presence, high notes - power singing (belting), and so much more. My goal is to have a good time and spend our lesson's time wisely while we achieve the best results within singing. If there is a need I can also help you to broaden your knowledge about the repertoire that is suiting to your voice colour, recording sessions, live performance situations, "a workout plan for singing", songwriting/composing, music theory, and such." P.S. ALL STYLES ARE WELCOME ! (pop/jazz/rnb/musicals/and so on)

Learn Piano and Improvisation and practice other languages :)
The most important matter that I could write here about is my passion to teach. I've been teaching already for more than 10 years, from kids to adults. I'm a classical pianist, but I am opened to other musical styles. What I want you to get from your lessons with me, is not only a huge knowledge of theorical stuff or a great technique, I would like to show you my musical world, the imagination and inner exploration that is required to understand and to love music in a whole new level. Once you have found them, it will be very hard to quit playing! The class duration: You can choose! 20 minutes (Great for the youngest : 3 years old) 30 minutes (Ideal for young beginners from 4 years old) 45 minutes (Intermediate+ adult beginners) 1 hour (Intermediate and combined with some Music Theory) I use different methods depending on: 1) The goals of my student 2) The language that we will use on class 3) Age and musical preferences: I start to teach children from 3 years old, we make games and they learn to play through musical stories that I have created throughout my pedagogical career.

Learn to Sing with a Qualified Opera Singer with 6+ years teaching & professional performance experience.
Whether you're a beginner who just wants a confidence boost, or someone with a music background who wants to take your technique up a notch, I'd be so happy to make music with you! The principles of music-based vocal & breath work have such power, & will not only make you feel more oxygenated, but will bring out a strength of voice & character that you didn't know you possessed! I am/have been Peripatetic Vocal Coach at 2 Independent Girls High Schools, 2 Preparatory schools (one of which is all-boys), and teach several homeschoolers (one of whom lives in Zambia, and is online). I'm confident that I can give you the same sound pedagogical experience online that you would receive on site. My current online students live in China, Kyrgstan, New York, Zambia, Cape Town and Switzerland. Here's what one of my mature pupils from 2019 had to say: "I have always loved singing, but never had the confidence to follow through with my passion. As an adult it can be pretty daunting. I had a couple of lessons with Emma, & through her encouragement, patience & great teaching skills, my confidence grew .. She inspired me to believe in myself and my ability to sing, especially when I did not believe it myself. She is a tremendously positive, engaging & fun teacher, & I always came out of her lessons feeling better than I had walking in, & looking forward to the next lesson!" Others in 2022 said: "I now feel that I can sing well beyond 45mins, whereas previously with another coach, it was all that I could manage in a day! I'm also not afraid of high notes anymore, as I've been taught how to approach them healthily and safely." "I have been singing this song for a while, and haven't been able to sing those tops. In one lesson, you've shown me, as a tenor, how to do so - and comfortably!" Colleagues of mine at schools that I teach at have said of my lessons: "It is a privilege to listen to you teach." "I have never heard sounds like that coming from our department!" So what are you waiting for? Join me online, from a vocally safe and sunny home studio, & let's start from where you're at, make music, & have FUN doing it!

Singing lessons in English for all levels by professional voice teacher, vocal coach and singer
I'm a former New York City voice teacher/coach, professional singer and an award winning composer who has relocated to Berlin. I've taught with the most reputable children's musical theatre organizations in NYC (TADA!, Brooklyn Children's Theatre, The Neighborhood Playhouse) with students of all ages as well as private students and I've worked with Broadway stars such as Laura Osnes, Karen Mason and Ron Bohmer, who have also recorded my music, and I'm excited to bring my 20 yrs of teaching experience to Berlin! I teach songwriting as well, if that is something you're interested in. I'm a classically trained singer who performed with the San Francisco Opera and other companies both in opera and musical theatre for many years. Though I specialize now in musical theatre, I am happy and comfortable teaching you to sing in whatever style you prefer. The basics are the same! In our lessons, we will work on breath, correct vowel pronunciation, placement, diction, etc... as well as getting rid of the tension and habits that keep us from singing freely and beautifully. We will also work on the musical and dramatic aspects of the material we choose together, so that you will feel comfortable at an audition or a performance. And I keep lessons fun so that you can both learn and progress each week AND enjoy yourself! Whether just starting out or a professional who needs help working on an audition or role, I can help you reach your goals!

    Ziad
Oud & Oriental Arabic Singing Teacher in Mönchengladbach
Experienced Oud & Oriental singing teacher for over 6 years, Lebanese, living in Mönchengladbach. Studied for 8 years at the Lebanese National Conservatory. I was a teacher at Casa Beethoven academy in Lebanon and a private teacher in Lebanon. Played in an oriental orchestra "Loubnan Assalam" for more than 5 years as a concertmaster. My reason for moving to Germany was that I am currently finishing my studies at the University of Kamp Lintfort. Fluent in English, Couramment en français, ولغتي الأم هي اللغة العربية. Aber leider spreche Ich ein bisschen Deutsch. Oud is an oriental instrument, very beautiful and it has recently been used in new cultures in many countries other than the Far Eastern countries of the Middle East due to its soft and beautiful sound. It is not yet very popular in Germany and if you master this instrument you will encounter many demands and opportunities in the near future. If you are hungry to learn an oriental instrument, the Oud is a very good choice. If you are looking to play German music or any kind of music, the combination of Oud with other popular instruments is very beautiful and you can be one of the first who spread this beautiful culture in any kind of music. My recommendation for studying Oud is to start studying notes and how to read them, before playing songs. Most of the new students, usually ask me to study songs without reading notes. This method could work but it will take a long time for the student to understand the basics of the instrument and of music in general. But if you are dedicated and you work hard, we can take a good step in almost a year so that you can start playing easy songs. If you don't like music or you don't love the instrument, I do not recommend you learn it. "More about me" I met My lovely wife in the orchestra, she plays Cello as well. We love music. It is our passion. My hobbies are playing chess, diving, biking, and running. I had an e-commerce business in Lebanon, but unfortunately, after the economic crisis, we closed it, shut down the website, and moved to Germany. Social media channels are still available "TopArabica" I am a friendly person, I love teaching and seeing my students make good progress and play with me duets. It is best to meet in person but if you are away from my location, online lectures can also be provided. Leave me a message and I will be in touch with you as soon as possible.
