I am a multidisciplinary artist and designer with fifteen years of experience. I studied art and architecture at the École nationale supérieure des Arts Décoratifs in Paris and the Columbia University in New York. I teach painting, drawing, digital image and creativity. This class is ideal for beginners but also intermediate students who want to develop their own style. For my personal projects, I work in a wide range of mediums, from drawing, painting and printmaking to digital image and 3D Printing. When teaching, I prefer to first focus on free-hand drawing and painting as this allows for greater spontaneity regardless of the student's technical level. We later explore other methods based on the student's individual interests. I like to teach children and adults via mini projects involving art history references and help them develop narratives around their work. I deeply believe in people's creative potential and in my classes will help you channel your own voice.

If you're interested in digital art, you can learn how to create digital arts using Krita, a free digital arts software that I highly recommend for it's tools and features similar to that of Photoshop's. If you already experimented on your own software, I will help you with rendering, anatomy, and composition. If you're interested in painting, I can provide materials if needed. Would you love to write, but don't know where to begin? Perhaps you're already writing or studying English/creative writing, and need a hand? Would you benefit from 1-1, tailored support? I'm a writer and poet, and my experience of tutoring hundreds of people over the past couple of decades has taught me that anyone can write with the right tools, support and encouragement! We all have experiences we can draw on to express ourselves creatively through the written word. Children, young people, and those experiencing challenges often find writing particularly beneficial and enjoyable. I am here to help inspire new and emerging writers by guiding you through the basics of writing, facilitating a deepened enjoyment and understanding of the power of words, and, importantly, supporting you to have confidence in your unique voice. These interactive, informal, and supportive online classes are aimed at students of any age (above 7 years) who wish to write poetry, short stories, or creative prose (such as life writing). This includes beginners who are keen to learn basic writing skills, and those with some experience wishing to develop their practice and learn more, including students of English and creative writing at school, college or outside of formal education. Although we will touch on key grammatical terms, the focus will be on your creative expression through the written word. In these classes, which will be tailored according to age, experience, needs, and areas of interest, students will learn the basics of writing short stories, including flash fiction; poetry, including free verse and traditional forms such as Haiku and sonnets; and creative prose, including life writing or short creative essays. You can attend as many classes as you like, and together, we will build your skills and understanding of creative writing, including identifying the stories you want to tell. The classes will be a mix of presentation, 'warm-up' writing activities, discussion, reading and analysing key texts, main writing activities, and redrafting, editing and proof-reading your work. For those wishing to get published, there will be additional optional support available, such as detailed editing and mentoring advice, as well as hints and tips on developing as a writer.
