About Me

Nice to meet you. My name is Alejandro Vivero and I teach music theory, composition, orchestration and electric bass, according to the needs and tastes of the student. (All levels) I also prepare students for university entrance exams.

I have my own approach to teaching drawn from my own inspirational teachers and the experience of teaching, performing and recording for over 30 years.

I adapt to the needs and goals of the student, but a typical 1st year class for guitar would involve focusing on a variety of pieces in different styles and suggestions of any helpful technical exercises, reading, rhythm playing, expanding chord/harmony knowledge and supporting theory. I am a professional bassist with more than 15 years of experience, graduated in Jazz and Modern Music by the Taller de Músics. I have recorded more than 30 albums and played at festivals in France, Holland, Switzerland, Portugal, Morocco, Norway, Colombia and Spain. Currently, I participate in more than 10 musical projects, including Papa Orbe & Los Científicos de Sabor, one of the most powerful orchestras of Latin Jazz and Cuban music.

Giordano" Conservatory in Foggia, with a Master's degree in Classical Performance from the ESMUC in Barcelona, and currently a professor at the Vic Conservatory (Catalonia).
