Paolo - Wembley49€
Trusted teacher: "I strongly believe that anyone can achieve great results and learn anything when they’re motivated and enthused. As we know education is often focused on passing exams but too often the joy of learning for the sake of just learning is missing. I can certainly help with passing exams, but in such a way that enthuses my students to want to learn more, developing their talent and curiosity. It’s important to me to create a nurturing environment to enable my student to explore their ideas without fear of failure, building confidence and ultimately excelling. I take pride on being able to discover the way a student thinks and the style of learning that best matches them. Above all though: a good sense of humour and fun goes a long way to ensuring the whole learning experience is positive.” PAOLO I qualified to teach: - Classical, Acoustic and Electric guitar lessons up to Grade 8 and DIplomas (Trinity College, ABRSM, RockSchool). - Piano, Bass guitar and Singing lessons up to Grade 6 (Trinity College and ABRSM). - Music technology, sound design and audio editing tuitions and workshop on Cubase (v. 7 to 11) and Logic Pro X . - Music theory, songwriting classes, and private tutoring for GCSE students who need extra help are also available.

Trusted teacher: …….Ana is also passionate about teaching. She was the baroque strings coach at the inaugural edition of the Novi Sad Baroque Academy, where she presented a mixture of teaching methods incorporated with historically informed performance practice. In October of 2021 she joined the Herne Hill Music Studio in London as one of their tutors. She enjoys teaching students of all levels and ages, and is always willing to exchange knowledge, seeking new exciting and productive ways of learning. She has explored educational psychology, as well as Feldenkrais and Alexander Technique, visualization and different teaching schools. Having studied 2nd-study piano at her music college as a compulsory requirement, she is able to guide children to take ABRSM graded piano music exams too. The students’ happiness, acquisition of new knowledge and musical improvement are the most important things to her. Diana Cummings, the LRAM programme supervisor at the Royal Academy of Music in London, said: “Ana gave a detailed and very well-presented analysis of the baroque viola, the comparison with modern viola and how it could be taught. You have a very analytical mind and think through all the elements of teaching effectively and constructively. You are a most promising teacher, and you are exploring your potential with great enthusiasm. Well done.” …

I previously taught pupils to prepare for the ABRSM piano examinations, and have a 100% pass rate. Playing the piano is an expressive and engaging skill to learn. If you’re looking for exam preparation, just for fun, or anything else in between I would be more than happy to tailor a course to your needs. I also have experience with teaching music to early childhood students. Do get in contact if I sound like a good fit for you.

The English language is essential in our lives as it helps communication. It is the primary language for studying any subject all over the world. English is important for students as it broadens their minds, develops emotional skills, and improves their quality of life by providing job opportunities. Having a large vocabulary helps children learn more. Words allow them to make sense of the world around them. If it's developed early, it's easier to achieve later.

Approaching our creativity can be intimidating or even frightening at times if done without some confidence in basic skills or a driving and canalised inspiration. This class aims at addressing the development of both allowing the students to express themselves with ease and satisfaction. The program is structured following the needs of the student. Each of them though will develop a well-grounded and consisted understanding of several mediums. From drawing with pen, ink or charcoal to painting with watercolour, oils or acrylics. Once a discrete mastery of the medium has been reached the students will find themselves capable of bending the potentialities of the technique to express themselves freely. It is not my interest to teach the impeccable technique, but rather to empower the students with simple and clear tools so that they might fluidly use them intuitively and with confidence. My goal is to transmit and share what I have learnt by the side of artists and illustrators in Rome, New York and London and through my personal research. I strongly believe the direct human connection between teacher and student is key in the learning process.

Drawing and painting is fun, creative and can assist in developing a child's imagination. Learning the fundamentals of fine art builds a strong foundation in the creative process which is a transferrable skill. I have designed this course so that children can understand the different approaches to drawing and painting, which will develop their artistic knowledge and skills. It will also allow them to freely express themselves through visuals.
