In 2023, I've obtained a Master degree in Linguistics at the University of Amsterdam. I've achieved the C1+ levels in English, on the CEFR scale. I have 2 years of experience living in London, where I acquired RP (received pronunciation) and 7 years of experience in the International Academia (Amsterdam). My linguistic background gives me the capacity to explain the sounds and various processes of the language, from a perspective many natives do not know. In teaching, I practice the holistic approach. It is my belief that language is for people of every age and education, but I'm aware that everyone deserves a personal approach. In the first session, we always do a needs analysis and become acquainted, to make sure we click as people and will enjoy working away at your personal language goals. Over the years, my classes, have proven to raise the confidence levels of students. We practice knowledge in English, on 4 levels of proficiency: Speaking, Listening, Reading and Writing. As someone struggling with learning programming in Python for so long, Jerry's lessons literally saved me. His clear explanations helped me understand the concepts better, and the examples he provided helped me concretize the topics in my mind so that I was able to apply them by myself later. He was very patient and helpful when explaining the topics and when giving me time to think about the possible formulations of the algorithms, which released the stress of passing my university course and enabled me to actually understand the essence of Python and how to think when programming.

Lila knows how to asses which level my child is at accurately, and help her from very silence at the beginning to be very devoted to the doalogue at the end. In addition, she uses the facility around as her teaching resource so that my child feels unbored through two hours' lesson. She is creative and meticulously considerate in her teaching.

I've taken two classes with Ilya on the topic of pop music and comping and plan on continuing with him. He is friendly, knowledgeable, and supportive. I came in with quite a lot of knowledge from my own study but he handily identified the areas I need to work on. I already got a lot out of those 2 lessons.
