This is my first trip to Asia and South Korea. Meeting and getting to know Kay is a gift from heaven for me. Kay is such a wonderful, warm, bright, considerate and open minded teacher and friend. Kay was there for me and with me from the first moment we met in Seoul. She has helped me with handling so many aspects in daily life more than I could ever have asked for. Kay's classes are very interesting and motivating, well organized and lots of fun - a great learning experience. She always pays attention to my paste while studying Korean together. Kay has especially prepared a program for me, so I am not only able to experience the language but also many other aspects of the Korean culture and living. Some experiences/moments we have shared together: - Cooking some Korean dishes - Eating Korean food (Kay took me to restaurants which I would never have been able to find on my own) - Listening to Korean classical music during two concerts - Visiting Seodaemun, Museum of National History - Wearing a Hanbok, the Korean traditional costume I can recommend Kay to anyone not only wanting to learn Korean but more so experiencing the Korean culture and living. I am and will always be grateful to have been able to meet and cross paths with Kay.

The lesson and learning materials provided is very well structured and paced. Mrs Rattana caters to each student’s learning style. I was amazed and pleasantly surprised how much I learned in my first lesson with Mrs Rattana (1-hour conversational + 1 hour for reading writing) that I couldn’t believe it was just the first meeting with her! I find myself grasping the Thai language so much more than I could ever learn by myself despite the wealth of online resources. Very glad I made the decision to learn Thai with Mrs Rattana guidance :) At the time of writing, I have completed by 3rd class and more to go. My goal is to reach and master the basics. I highly and truly recommend Mrs Rattana class to anyone who wishes to learn Thai competently, at a pace that stretches you a little but not too out of reach. Despite the challenge in learning a new language, rest assured that you’ll be well guided.

Learning how to speak Thai with Kru Gaeme (Sontana) has been a great experience. She’s got this great approach of bringing in vocabulary from previous lessons, which helps everything stick. Like in our lesson about weather, she’d loop back to words I’d learned earlier, so I didn’t lose track. She’s also really attentive to my pronunciation, especially with Thai tones, which I know can be tricky. I’m definitely more confident speaking now. Plus, she’s flexible—if there’s something I’m struggling with, she’ll spend extra time on it, but she’s happy to speed through anything I already know. If you’re looking for a personalized and patient way to really get conversational in Thai, I’d highly recommend Kru Gaeme!
