I love English! I've been teaching in high level, prestigious Japanese Junior and Senior high schools in Tokyo for over ten years. Before that, I taught on the JET program for 3 years. I have been a speech contest judge dozens of times. I love teaching and always try to make my lessons fun and worthwhile for everyone. Previously, I hosted an English language TV show from Tokyo and Hawaii and have acted in movies and television as well as authored books in fiction and non-fiction. Currently, I teach at two of the highest ranked girls' schools in Tokyo. I have been very successful in advising and coaching my students for their university entrance exam interviews (in English). For now, I am only teaching online via Zoom or Google Meet of Facetime. In-person lessons will begin in summer. I am from the United States (New York City) and currently live near lovely Inokashira park in Mitaka, Tokyo. I enjoy art, music, nature, travel, design, literature, movies, culture, and technology.
