Languages are an important part of my life. I was born and raised in Venezuela, Spanish is my native language. I lived in Spain for 4 years, where I obtained my bachelor's degree. I learned English when I was 7 years old, my mother signed me up for individual lessons. I owe most of my basic English and grammatical knowledge to my teacher at the time. I'm also grateful to her because she made me feel passionate about learning languages, specially English. I kept learning it through books, music and school lessons. Ever since I left my home country when I was 17 years old, English has become my primary language, it's the main language I use to communicate with my partner, friends, classmates and coworkers. I try to teach languages following the idea of an active student, where they get to speak, write and listen as if they were in a country where they speak the language they're learning. I offer English lessons to children and teenagers, whether it is to introduce them to the language or to help with their homework. I also offer conversational classes to adults, to help them tune their conversational skills. At the same time, I offer conversational lessons in Spanish, for those who would like to practice and refine their skills with a native speaker.
