As a university dental surgery student, I have had to work hard to get to where I am in everything I do - therefore I am aware of how helpful some extra support can be. That is what I wish to offer. I have completed 13 GCSEs and I have 3 A-Levels grades A-B in Biology, Chemistry and Geography. I offer self-made powerpoints and question banks per lesson. I feel as though it is vital for students to have a safe space where they can build the confidence to answer questions as well as ask them. It can be difficult to ask for help in a classroom setting, which is why I aim to encourage students to make mistakes now to avoid making them in an exam. Another aspect of teaching I like to focus on includes incorporating exam technique into content delivery, to build good habits among students and maximise marks in assessments; knowing content is important, but exam technique can be the difference between grades.
