As a teacher of Russian and English with years' of experience, I love my job because it allows me to see people's progress in learning new languages as well as their eminent success!
What's the most important thing for me as a teacher? I guess it is to find an individual approach to everyone. My goal is to make a lesson as efficient and entertaining as possible. Engaging tasks that encourage students to be focused on their goal to speak, understand and use the language is a must! Moreover, I cannot ignore various cultural aspects hence include interesting discussions on culture and history since it is also highly important when learning a language.
As a native Russian, I am eager to share my knowledge about Russian traditions, history and culture with my students. As a specialist in English, I am ready to discuss American literature and culture too!
