A language is the key to communication and in the interconnected, globalized world that we find ourselves in, a language can really broaden your horizons and extend your web. In addition, a new language also brings culture with it and a vast array of new traveling opportunities.
However, despite all of these advantages, learning a language can be challenging and demotivating, in particular when it is studied without being in touch with native speakers and the corresponding culture that a language brings with it.
The language tutoring provided will be personalized to the student's needs and will provide the cultural context that comes with a language, allowing for a more enjoyable and interactive language acquisition process.

I am from Uruguay and speak the corresponding regional dialect. This is irrelevant for students who are in need of written tutoring however, for students willing to learn to speak Spanish as it is spoken in Spain, it might be a problem as there are certain differences. It is important to add that all dialects are valid in a professional and academic setting and that dialects have no hierarchy.

My name is Bernardo and I am an international university student, currently finishing my Bachelor's degree in International Studies at Leiden University. Being born in Uruguay and having lived in Kenya, Germany, and the Netherlands I had the privilege to learn multiple languages and experience the corresponding cultures. Learning a language goes beyond learning the precise grammatical structure of it, learning a language means getting to know new cultural customs and traditions.
