Über mich

I have been teaching the guitar since 2016 to students of all ages and levels. I am really passionate in transmitting all the knowledge I have acquired over the years and making the students love music as much as I do.
I have studied the guitar next to Michalis Kontaxakis and Antonis Hatzinikolaou, two of Greece's most acclaimed performers. I have also traveled the world to take classes with a lot of the most notable guitarists of our time (e.g. Zoran Dukić, Hubert Käppel, etc).
Studying Musicology at the University of Athens gave me a lot of insight into the deepest meanings in the musical works and gave me strong grounding in the different musical styles of western music. This knowledge is valuable to be able to appreciate music in its entirety and I am always eager to transmit that to my students.

2015-2021: University of Athens, Degree in Musicology (Integrated Master), GPO 8,4/10.
2019: Certificate in Fugue Composition, Korydalos Music School.
2018: Post-diploma Certificate in Classical Guitar, under Michalis Kontaxakis.
2016: Diploma in Classical Guitar.

2016-2019: Private guitar tutor in Athens.
2018-2019: Member of the Sicut Sonitus guitar quartet.

If you are interested in improving your reeds, welcome to my lesson, where you can know more about the reeds and learn how to adjust and maintain them with some simple steps!
I also offer clarinet private lessons, I could help you not only improve the skills but also solve the problems of the instrument itself.

I am a 25 year Master Student from Düsseldorf. I am very flexible timewise as I most of my uni content is online and recorded. Now some information about my guitar experience:

I've been playing acoustic and electric guitar for over twelve years. I played in two bands and was a prize winner atat German music contest on state level. I have already given lessons for 3 children and 5 adults and can teach beginner to advanced level. "Offline and "Online".

In my lessons, I make sure that fun and motivation is quickly generated. I explain music theory only to the extent that it always contributes to direct progress on the instrument. I am always patient and friendly, and as soon as you have some basic knowledge, I am happy to respond to individual wishes.
Of course I also give lessons via Skype and Zoom and send practice material as a Word file afterwards.

Classes can be held at my place in Utrecht Overvecht or as I can also come to your place. Whatever you prefer.

Who I am?
Hi! My name is Jobbe. Once upon a time, I was an aspiring academic, but longing for a more creative way to share my voice I started singing and quite I recently graduated form the Master of Music program direction Music Theatre. I know how arduous the artistic journey can be yet, we take it none the less, because we are all striving for this little moment of magic that arises when everything falls into place. For me, I saw this happening many times during a performance but also in coaching others and it gives me chills every time. And I would be honoured to help you pass on this little spark of magic to others!

As I am only just starting with these individual lessons for a limited time they are available.

From the technique and theory of singing to performative qualities and coaching, I can help! Together we can work to get your singing to the next level!
