I am a physicist by profession (PhD 2019), and in my spare time am looking to offer tutoring services in Mathematics & Physics. I can teach all high school ages, as well at university level. I have prior experience of covering GCSE/A-Level / IB curriculum, teaching students at a range of ability and ages
I am flexible with the teaching methods, can teach at my place or at the student's, as well as online.

I am an Astronomer/physicist by profession, working for over 10 years now in the field. My main job is in astrophysical research, but I also enjoy teaching and student supervision. My day job involves using complex mathematics and Physics, and I particularly enjoy communicating these methods to the general public as well as to younger students.
I have previously taught at High school level, as well supervised projects at University level, and currently in my spare time, am looking forward to tutor again.

Good morning ! My name is Felix, I am 19 years old and I am French and Austrian. Currently in the second year of my bachelor's degree in Turin, I offer Mathematics, Geography and French courses for middle school, high school and L1 levels. Having always excelled in these subjects, I am enthusiastic about the idea of sharing my passion and helping other students to progress.

I offer private tutoring in Mathematics and Physics-Chemistry for high school students, as well as general academic support for middle school students (homework help, study methods, etc.). Only in French, Spanish or English. I am available for in-person lessons in Turin or online classes.

I adapt to each student’s needs and pace. In general, a lesson is structured in three stages:
1) Review of key concepts to ensure full understanding,
2) Application exercises to consolidate knowledge,
3) Further exploration if the student’s level and goals allow it.

I have several years of tutoring experience. For the past three years, I have been teaching middle school, high school, and preparatory class students in Paris.

Spanish / Catalan (bilingual),
English (B2/C1).

As a private tutor, my approach is based on three fundamental principles: listening, adapted teaching, and student empowerment.

1) Listening accompanied by kindness is the key to achieving understanding and learning.
- I then take care to identify the student's level by taking into account their strengths as well as their weaknesses.

- What is the goal the student wants to achieve.

2) A pedagogy based on kindness!
Methodology: I don't just teach "what to do," but more importantly, "how to do it." I then encourage the student to reformulate to ensure they understand.

3) Move towards student autonomy!
I make sure that the student feels confident in their learning: this will allow them to refine what they have understood. Afterwards, I will encourage them to reflect: to ask questions in order to encourage critical thinking and curiosity.

4) I adapt the language level

5) Guide learning through play: Mind maps, diagrams, analogies, little games, etc.

In short, I see my role not as that of a "lesson giver," but as a guide who accompanies, stimulates, reassures, and enables the student to learn on their own. The ultimate goal: that they no longer need me.
