science tutor- Biology and chemistry for 11+ and Alevel

I am a part of the King’s team, working for Princess Royal University Hospital (PRUH) for the past 5 years. I am a qualified clinical reporting. I have carried out lectures at South Bank university subjects covering anatomy and medical imagining. Furthermore, I am a qualified student co-ordinator, therefore I take responsibility in mentoring students on placement at our radiology department. Additionally, I make sure students achieve their learning outcome by carrying out lab experiments, lectures at placement and setting daily/weekly tasks.

Due to my biomedical degree background, I am able to carry out private tutoring covering GCSE science but mainly covering A-Level Biology. I have been carrying out private tutoring over 8 years, I have been highly successful due to my explanation skill by breaking down information into analogy and visible representation, so it can be easily understood. Furthermore, I focus on learning styles, strengths, weakness and tactics to improve grade. I am experienced in dealing with students from all walks of life due to my work-related responsibilities.

As a professional and a registered HCPC member I am always maintaining continues professional development.

In these classes I provide an extensive and in depth look into the chosen subject of study. Whether it be test prep for 11 plus. Or GCSE. I make sure that my clients have complete satisfaction. I also offer after class consultations with parents to keep them informed with their childs progression.

I offer private lessons in Chemistry to school students following French, British, IB or American systems. Being a PhD-holder in Chemistry from Imperial College London, I also offer support to chemistry students at university level.
Classes are delivered online via Zoom.

In my classes:
- I encourage asking relevant questions and I am willing to repeat explanations as much as necessary.
- I use technological tools and web interfaces to provide visual support to verbal explanations, which I consider a key part of effective teaching.
- I share my own, tailored, class notes and encourage the student to take notes him/herself as practice.
- We solve problems and I also assign homework and correct it in the following lesson.

After my classes, I share my notes with my students to help them retain the information and revise.

Specialised tutor in Science, Maths and English with a high academic background and here to give you the guidance and tutoring needed to achieve. As a current student at Imperial College studying Medical Biosciences, my goal is to bring my expertise to challenge not overwhelm my students and set homework and active recall tests to track students progress.

Computer science is a powerful knowledge and skill in today’s society and dairy lifestyle.
Everybody needs to learn at least basic computing skills to be able to get into employment and cope with daily tasks such as banking, study, homework, effective communication, connecting to the world, etc.

In a biology class, students learn about cell structure and function, genetics, evolution, ecology, physiology, microbiology, botany, zoology, and molecular biology.

IN each session, you will receive feedback on how to improve for the next session. Additionally, a practice paper will be assigned as homework.

Tutoring for subjects that teenagers or students that normally struggle with is enjoyable and rewarding it allows to me help and give the students a piece of mind that Will allow them to develop further with their studies and not feel like they are less able than other students. I aim to improve their knowledge as well as their grades and support them even when they do not ask for the help.

This class will help students and pass their exams.
