I was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina. I am a journalist, book author and screenwriter. I am a member of the “Latin American Journalists Federation” (Felap) and also of “The Union Press Workers of Buenos Aires”(Utpba). After graduating, I attended many classes and seminars to focus entirely into investigative journalism. My mother tongue is Spanish, but I am also fluent in English.

I have interviewed a large number of artists, musicians, film directors and actors, amongst many celebrities during my journalism career of about 25 years to the present days.
I published four books in English language in the United States, I wrote five screenplays for feature films, wrote hundreds of articles and conducted hundreds of interviews as well.

Aside from the publishing career I teach English as a second language for kids and teens, and also to young adults and adults (English for travelling and business). The same for Spanish students.

I am currently based in Shanghai, China working at Ciao Tong as a Media Specialist in the English writing communication and media / press department. Ciao Tong is an Educational Company focused on providing unconventional techniques of home tutoring by using entertainment and fun with the core mission of delivering native level oral English language skills and international cultural understanding to young Chinese students.

My name is Dani and I am Mexican. I always ask my students about their specific goals and their preferred way of learning a language. In my classes I like to take a conversational approach, but this depends entirely on the needs of my students. I use different books with different didactic material, mostly Aula Plus and Bitacora. I also try to practice all skills: talking, writing and listening. If the student wants it, I leave homework, which I correct during the week before the next lesson, so that we can make the most of the lesson time. I share a word or phrase of the week with my students to build a useful vocabulary. Teaching is my passion. I feel motivated by the progress of my students, which I believe also keeps them motivated. German and Spanish are my native languages and I speak fluent English, I also speak fluent Dutch (with a little accent). Therefore, I can explain concepts in all these languages. However, I prefer to speak Spanish as much as possible, also for the beginners lessons, because I believe that people learn the language better that way.
