I'm Yves, a private tutor and translator from London currently based in Paris. I am a native English speaker with a degree in English and French from the University of Oxford, and have been tutoring (English, French, critical thinking and university admissions) professionally since 2018. Outside of work, I am a poet, painter, and amateur programmer.

For students looking to apply to Oxford, Cambridge, and other UK universities, I provide comprehensive support. From academic English enhancement and assistance with UCAS applications to admissions tests and interview preparation, I'll guide you every step of the way. My lessons follow the Oxbridge tutorial format, and are primarily used to develop your existing academic interests and critical thinking skills in advance of the UCAS cycle.

I benefit from a great experience and have already been able to support many pupils of all ages (CE1, CM2, 6th, 5th, 4th, 3rd) whether it is for a particular subject or for more general help or simply to help motivation and confidence of the young person. I am also used to helping the students in my class in their understanding.
I have always appreciated French and literature a lot and obtained excellent marks in this subject in the baccalaureate last year (19 oral and 20 written).
It can also take the form of learning French as a foreign language. Having learned four foreign languages myself, I am passionate about this objective and will take great pleasure in helping you achieve it.

Currently in dual History-Spanish license in Sorbonne, I offer support or advanced courses in Spanish. These courses can concern the purely linguistic aspect as well as the literary aspect or even civilization courses if the student is interested.
Native Spanish, I master this Language at C2 level and am very close to this culture.
I had my bac S mention Very good, and my passage in CPGE B / L in Nancy allowed me to develop a great capacity for work and widened my knowledge.
Dynamic and interested, I will be able to transmit this taste to make learning easier and effective.
