Hello parents,

My name is Lucas, I'm a 37 years old graphic and UX designer.
I created this course to incentive children and young teenagers to dive into the universe of Coding. Learning the very basics of what goes on behind the websites and apps we visit, is an important feature to this generation, and like learning a foreign language this opens doors to interpreting and interacting with the world around us.

The course will be lead through simple projects, CSS animations, a fun Website building, link-based activities, etc, adapted to the student's age and abilities, being fun and connected to their universe! Through play and drawing, the goal is to make them understand the basics of how code interacts with what we see as a ready product on screen. It is an insight creator!

The course is conducted in either English, Portuguese or Spanish. We can discuss the possibilities of conducting it in German or French.
I can commute to your desired place within the Ringbahn, and we will use the student's computer to complete the tasks. :)

Unfortunately, the following short lecture cannot convey one thing: my joy in people and in helping them. Instead, I give an overview of my skills and methodology. Briefly and humorously summarized:

Thank you for taking the time to visit. My name is Andreas, a former mechanical engineer and qualified high school teacher with a teaching diploma. Apart from teaching young people at Kanti, I have also helped young adults on their educational path as a full-time teacher at a vocational school and at university.
In total I have taught 5 years in public schools and 15+ years of tutoring. It was mainly about areas from MINT (math, physics, ...). Unusual combination but true: I am very interested in languages and have lived in both the US and Mexico, so I help some students with English and Spanish.
I'm currently taking a break from the school system and taking time for the other important things in life: family and health. I help a few selected students on their way to the leading universities, with difficult subjects or complex tasks such as statistical evaluations for the doctorate.
