I received my Bachelor degree in theoretical physics in 1999, then I studied particles physics in Paris (MSc) and string theory in Rome (PhD). Afterwards, I carried out research at the Albert Einstein Institute for Gravitational Physics near Berlin (Germany), the International Center for Theoretical Physics in Trieste (Italy), the Kavli Institute for Theoretical Physics in Beijing (China), and the London School of Economics (UK).

Professor received his Bachelor's degree in physics from Universidad Central de Venezuela, then he went to study particles physics in Paris (MSc) and string theory in Rome (PhD). I am specialized (>5 years of experience) in tutoring math for school (any level, but preferably higher level), including competitive exams such as the SAT, GRE, GMAT, and the IIT-JEE.

This class is aimed to train
1) high-school students undergoing VWO or an IB curriculum, who are having problems following math at school or university,
2) Anyone who wishes to take the VWO Math-A/B/C entrance examinations by Boswell or CCVX and wants to train for that.

Personally, I am currently working as a Quantitative Researcher of stock markets, and therefore analytical math is also a part of my job.

The classes could be rigorous or lenient depending on the student. There will be periodic homework and I'll make sure that the student achieves her/his desired goals.

Students preparing for the examination board often experience problems in the subjects of mathematics, chemistry or physics. Through intensive guidance I can greatly increase the chances of success. Students with dyscalculia are remedied by practicing the subject matter, using tips, mnemonics and a lot of patience. Experience shows that the way of mathematical thinking in dyscalculia is different and therefore requires a more structured, step-by-step approach.

Physics and chemistry are very interesting subjects, but also subjects that many people struggle with. Are you in secondary or higher education and struggling with these subjects, how to approach them, etc.? As an engineer, I would like to help other students navigate the sometimes complex world of mathematics and physics.
