I’m a prospective medical student from Hertfordshire with a passion for teaching!

My teaching strategy can be divided into 3 main steps:

1) identify my student’s weaker topics

2) help my student understand these topics

3) ensure that my student has plenty of exam prep and learns the “exam language”

For GCSE students
I would
- Go through the GCSE specification of the student's exam board
- Cover content/fill in any gaps in the student's knowledge
- Provide useful revision powerpoints
- Provide plenty of exam questions so my student is familiar with the characteristic GCSE science exam language.

For KS3 students
These years are about setting the foundations for GCSE.
I would
- Cover the simpler GCSE content
- Provide useful revision resources
- Ensure to familiarise the student with exam questions.

For AS students
A similar approach. I would:
- Go through the AS specification of the student's exam board
- Identify my student's weaker topics
- Cover relevant content
- Provide useful revision powerpoints
- Provide plenty of exam questions so my student is familiar with the characteristic AS science exam language.

My name is Denise I’m a Mexican Spanish as Foreign Language tutor (ELE Español Lengua Extranjera as acronym) certified by "Escuela Internacional Cervantes" with a Bachelor in Spanish Literature by the University of Nuevo León Mexico (UANL).

I started teaching and tutoring Spanish at a very young age helping my colleagues from High School achieve better scores and later I formalize this activity while finishing my university studies.
For the last seven years, I’ve been teaching Spanish in America and Europe to a broad variety of students: children/teenage tutoring, in-company adult students, online orientation and freelance translation for diverse projects.

I follow a flexible method adapting to the student’s level and personal goals.
During our classes the student will receive exercises, activities and extra resources as a plus for their class time.
My tools are diverse: textbooks, videos, podcast, newspapers, etc.

High School Math can be confusing for students. Often there is not enough time in school to repeat the content and practice enough, for the students to gain confidence and a routine in solving mathematical problems. With my help and guidance, any confusion will be cleared and we will practice problem solving until you are confident and understand the material.

The lessons will be tailored to your needs and their structure depends highly on you: usually it is a mixture of repeating the content, solving exercises together, summarising important concepts and talking about exercises you tried yourself at home. The topics, content, pace and methods of learning will be adjusted to your needs, ensuring that you get the most out of my lessons. Besides the lessons, you will get "homework" to work on to strengthen your skills and independent working.
