The focus of this class is to provide students with various tools on how to build their self confidence in order to break out of their comfort zones and move towards achieving their goals. You will learn how to deal with fear of rejection, how to use body language and so much more. The more confident you become, the more you are able to see the possibilities that are available to you.

Many people get "stuck" due to lack of confidence in all areas of their lives - lack of confidence in relationships and career paths, and an overall lack of confidence in their own capabilities. You will also let go of some of your limiting beliefs and instead, allow some self love into your life.

I am a native French speaker from the Democratic Republic of Congo, and provide french classes for beginners. French is such a fun and romantic language to speak!!

This course is for adults who are interested in picking up a second language from scratch or for those who want to brush up their knowledge of French. My goal is to provide students with the basics to create a foundation so that they may eventually pursue it at an intermediary level if they wish.

The focus will be on basic vocabulary, numbers, grammar, verbs: être and avoir in the present tense, nouns (feminine, masculine, singular and plural). The classes will be interactive allowing you to practice speaking and listening, and you will also get involved in reading and writing.

I was born in Istanbul in 1983. I started teaching Turkish while studying Turkish Language and Literature at university. I worked in a language school and at universities. I have been teaching Turkish professionally for more than 16 years. I also taught Turkish for 5 years when I was a university student. In 2018, I obtained a TESOL certificate and also began teaching English.

I teach both adults and children. Creating a comfortable learning environment for my students is one of my top priorities. If you would like to learn Turkish or English in a consistent and structured way, I would be happy to work with you.

I hold firmly to two main principles: creating a comfortable space for learning and building an encouraging atmosphere.

I love shaping each lesson around my students’ interests, needs, and learning styles. I adapt my teaching to the needs of students with special conditions, such as ADHD and OCD.

In my lessons, you’ll never feel afraid of making mistakes. Before long, you’ll start noticing them on your own and correcting yourself naturally.

Even though I use a communicative approach, my lessons are supported by a solid understanding of grammar, as Turkish has a very different structure.

I use the course book set prepared by Istanbul University. It follows a strategic approach to learning Turkish and includes all language skills—reading, grammar, writing, listening, watching, and speaking—from A1 to C2. All of these skills are essential for conversation.

I teach English for the A1 and A2 levels.

The workbook offers many exercises for homework or revision, and I support the book with my own authentic materials. I also use an interactive board that you can view anytime, and you can edit it as well. Repetition-based speaking practice plays an important role in my lessons.

I speak English well, and a bit of Italian, and I have also studied Persian and German grammar. I am interested in literature.

Taking time to practise speaking the language you are learning is crucial in the development of your active vocabulary. This will allow you to communicate with greater fluency and confidence.
You can suggests topics or discuss a variety of topics like hobbies and passions, work and travel or anything that you would like to work on. Throughout the class I will keep track of any and all vocabulary that you were unfamiliar with and go over them with you as well as send the list to you at the end of the class, to keep track of words and expressions as you encounter them.
