The most important matter that I could write here about is my passion to teach. I've been teaching already for more than 10 years, from kids to adults. I'm a classical pianist, but I am opened to other musical styles. What I want you to get from your lessons with me, is not only a huge knowledge of theorical stuff or a great technique, I would like to show you my musical world, the imagination and inner exploration that is required to understand and to love music in a whole new level. Once you have found them, it will be very hard to quit playing!
The class duration: You can choose!
20 minutes (Great for the youngest : 3 years old)
30 minutes (Ideal for young beginners from 4 years old)
45 minutes (Intermediate+ adult beginners)
1 hour (Intermediate and combined with some Music Theory)
I use different methods depending on:
1) The goals of my student
2) The language that we will use on class
3) Age and musical preferences: I start to teach children from 3 years old, we make games and they learn to play through musical stories that I have created throughout my pedagogical career.

For our class you will need a Skype account, or we can do it with Google Meet, you will choose.
Don't worry about the development of the lesson :) I will explain you everything as many times as you need it. Also, you will be able to see me and hear me very well, as the studio is provided with multi-cameras and microphones!

Hello!
I'm Gema, a piano teacher with +10 years of experience. I've worked with children mostly, but also with adults. In fact, my first experience as a teacher/conductor was in a Senior Choir, where I first learned how to conduct choirs in a professional way. Concerning my experience with kids, I really started to teach children around 7 years ago. My youngest piano student is currently 3 years old. I really like to teach small beginners, as everything for them is a fun exploration game. Something I also enjoy very much, is to work with students from different parts of the world, learning about their culture and their languages. That's why I will give you the choice to practice 4 languages with me: Spanish, Galician (very close to Portuguese), English and French (German is still on its way).
During these last years, I've been combining my activity as a teacher with the concerts (played in several countries in Europe). Thanks to this COVID situation (at least I could get something good out of it) I've been able to focus on online teaching. All these months of isolation have given me the result of being provided with a great audio/video system. That's why if you try a lesson with me, you will be able to see multiple cameras and microphones, aswell as the score of the piece that we will be working on :)
