Maybe you would like an introduction to how to record on Logic Pro X as you have just started using it, so that you can start to get your ideas down and build an arrangement around a song you've written?

I can help you with all of the above and more! I want to help you bring out the best in your musical composition and help you to bring your musical projects to fruition. I have a lot of experience in writing as a song-writer myself and compose music as part of my professional work. I can help you to develop ideas and if you are a performer, with your performance skills, so that you can write, record and perform your music to audiences. I also work with beginners and those that prefer to learn for fun.

I really enjoy teaching people of all ages and abilities how to sing, bring their ideas to fruition and achieve their goals in singing. I am a vocal coach, thus I like to work with students to help them to create a plan for developing their music abilities, from music theory, sight singing, to solid singing technique, performance and choosing the right style of song for your voice. We work on your aural understanding and awareness and help to make you a well rounded musician. Because of my background in classical singing, I can teach both classical and pop styles of singing. I also regularly teach the piano as I have a grade 5 in piano currently studying, myself for a grade 6.

I have had 15 years experience in teaching all ages and abilities, have led community music projects and sessions, sung professionally in bands, duos and as a solo performer for many years. I have a degree in popular music, am fully insured and DBS checked.

I teach students of all ages how to sing, perform their own songs and covers and for adults I cover artist development strategies for singers who want to improve their online profiles, or to develop their craft. I offer a bespoke service tailored to what YOU want to learn. I have had 15 years teaching experience and have performed in many different capacities, within musicals, in duos and bands as well as solo performances. The guitar is undoubtedly one of the most popular instruments of the modern age. It is so versatile and used in many genres ranging from classical music to Death Metal and even Electronic Music.

I will teach you the basics of playing the guitar, and I'll spice it up later with my experience in composition and songwriting. We will learn by example through the famous songs that shaped our understanding of the guitar. Whether you prefer singer-songwriter-style songs, or thrash metal we'll get there together.

I will teach mainly using the guitar tablature format, we can do sheet music which is generally unneeded for anything besides classical, but I will need to refresh my music sheet reading skills as I haven't had to read any in the last 10 years.
