Hi I’m Lara, I’m a 21 year old economics student in Pavia, near Milano.
I’m described funny and smart by my friends and I get along very well with people.
I sometimes babysit and I also work as a waitress, so I keep myself busy.
Since I live alone in Pavia I’ve made a lot of friends but I also love staying home and read a good book on a rainy Sunday night.
The lesson is intended to meet the student needs: the focus can be on the grammar, conversation or literature. In case of a middle-level speaker, the lesson will cover all four language's abilities: listening, speaking, writing and reading.

TECHNOLOGIES FOR LEARNING.

My name is Laurie and I am an independent FLE teacher, graduated in French and Romance languages and literature since 2012. I have five years of experience under my belt (abroad and in Belgium). I have created a teaching method for online courses.

The course includes:
-The material (articles, videos, exercises from images and texts, grammatical theory, links to the exercises...). I use Google Doc so it's best to have a Gmail address to access it.
-The correction of exercises outside of class (the written expressions are corrected outside of class, or with the student, according to his needs).
-Access to an application (free) to study vocabulary on your smartphone.
-A vocabulary sheet - pronunciation - grammar / conjugation, sent after each course.
-If necessary, a vocabulary recording (for beginners).
-The realization of online exercises and tests from the sent vocabulary sheets.
-Motivation, laughter, good mood :-)

My method:
- It's based on speaking.
-For grammar I use a question/answer method (learned during the training at the CERAN center).
-We work on pronunciation with the verbotonal method (exercises for setting your voice, for rhythm, etc.). I might even make you sing! :-)
-Everything goes through the spoken word before the written word, but I clearly adapt to the needs of the students.
-The course is a little different for children and adolescents: I use interactive games and cards via webcam.

I also very often use situations close to the student's experience, such as describing places they have been or talking about what they have experienced. At the same time, I teach the grammar rules to the student. I now live in regions where French has been spoken for over 30 years. If you wish to brush up your Italian, resume a past series of lessons, or simply start from scratch learning Italian, this is the right lesson for you! I like to personalize each class/course according to the needs and goals of my students. My classes are focused on improving the student's communication skills. At beginner and lower intermediate levels, I prefer using a text book/ student book in the first part of the class. I usually use "Nuovissimo Progetto Italiano" and "Arrivederci" by Edilingua, or "Nuovo Espresso" and "Dieci" by Alma Publishing. For the second part of the lesson, I create engaging contents using original videos, press articles, extracts from blogs and social media, literary texts. If the students do not feel comfortable using Italian from scratch, I can switch to English, German, or Dutch. The course fee includes the correction of home assignments.
