Fashion designing is a complex process that requires detailed planning and the right execution.
This program is designed to show you the professional processes and stages to creating your first design sheet.
You will learn basic sketching to illustrate your design thoughts and turning your ideas into visible technical sheets that can be used by a manufacturer or a tailor/ seamstress to make your design idea for you.

This class is a beginners guide learning how to gather ideas and draw your design on paper and applying the required information to your drawing for creating a garment.
These classes is ideal if you are looking at advancing into a career in design and want to add additional skills to your Cv and or want to learn learn about how the whole design process works on a professional level.
Whilst this course does not currently include sewing, you can progress from the technical drawings to creating your own paper patterns that you can use to create your own physical garment at a more advance level.

I am London fashion and business graduate with over 15 years experience as a working designer.
My experiences include designing for Both established U.K. and USA well known high street retailers and I have also established my own fashion brand.
I am here to support all those with a dream to also establish themselves as a designer by giving you the professional tools to get you started.

Hello lovely people! So excited and glad to be here, offering new adventures / creative moments and guide you to learn new skills/ technics and share my/our passion!! It is a beautiful journey what brings joy and excitement, moreover you will discover your creative side! BACKGROUND:
I am a fashion/lingerie designer based in Paris. I graduated at ESMOD Paris, few years ago in specialization woman's RTW and Lingerie. I was a "Young Designer Talent" of Interfiliere Paris and also a winner of Maison Lesage where I had a chance to learn haute-couture embriodery technic.
I have an art background as a painter (spec. aquarell) what I am also doing actively. After graduation I practiced my skills in Design Ateliers and Studios. I have a wide range of knowledge, so don't hesitate to hit me with your request, which way I could set up a specific class for your level and interest!

In this course you will learn the basic techniques of making jewelry with simple materials (macramé, pearl bracelets, various clasps for chains and bracelets, working with natural materials, etc.).
I will also show you how you can repair broken jewelry or turn it into new treasure.
I adapt my courses to your individual needs and wishes.
The course is also particularly suitable for children who need support in training their fine motor skills.
In consultation, I will send you a material package in advance, which you can use to design your jewelry.

n this course I will show you how to upcycle your T-shirt by changing some details and giving it a new shape. Instead of throwing it away, you create a new garment.

You will learn how to change a garment by altering the shilouette, increasing the neckline, changing the sleeves, adding an elastic band.

You can apply this knowledge to all kinds of garments and start to upcycle your clothes.

Lesson Overview

I am the founder of the fashion brand Johannes and an actively practising designer, bringing an industry-focused approach to teaching. I support students in developing strong, competitive portfolios for university applications and professional roles, with clear guidance on concept development, editing, and presentation aligned with current academic and industry expectations.

My professional work includes designing and dressing international artists such as Björk, Lady Gaga, Grimes, Kylie Jenner, Megan Thee Stallion, Rina Sawayama, and Post Malone for performances, editorials, and public appearances. This experience gives students direct insight into professional standards, timelines, and the realities of working under pressure within the fashion industry. My technical foundation is shaped by experience in couture and luxury fashion environments including Viktor&Rolf, Givenchy, Balmain, and bespoke tailoring ateliers.

My teaching covers draping, pattern making, sewing, and hand-based construction techniques, with a strong focus on fit, proportion, and translating ideas into technically resolved garments. I offer targeted guidance on what universities are looking for at foundation, BA, and MA level: from creative curiosity and process at foundation stage, to technical skill, concept development, and visual clarity at BA level, through to research depth, authorship, and critical positioning at MA level. I work closely with students to ensure their portfolios clearly communicate both creative identity and readiness for academic or professional progression. I am fluent in German and, with formal training in painting, can also support students in developing visual research, composition, and fine art–led portfolio work where relevant.
