KEY OBJECTIVES:

• To introduce the right toolkit to take on contemporary art of any kind, no matter how difficult, minimal and conceptually driven it may be.

• To learn to spot and call out artwork that is being difficult or challenging because it’s a load of rubbish.

• To make you feel more confident when making and looking at contemporary art!

How can we be so categorical about something as subjective as deciding if art is ‘good’ or ‘bad’? Think of it like this: If you’re not any good at carpentry, you can still identify a poorly made coffee table. Basically, what we’re going to try to do is understand how to recognise if an artwork has been responsibly made or not. In the case contemporary art that has been made responsibly, this class will suggest that your kid could not have made it, any more than they could have removed your appendix, designed a suspension bridge or landed a crashing helicopter. In the case of art that has not been made responsibly, then yes, perhaps your kid could have made it.

I am professional contemporary artist who understands that art isn't always accessible, and definitely isn't always fun. I am therefore committed to creating playful, accessible and rewarding experiences in both making and teaching art.

Are you an art student tasked with writing a research-creation thesis and unsure where to begin? Are you struggling to develop your plan? By using the Constellation Model that I had designed for research-creation, I bring you to explain your intentions and your motivations to the point of exceeding them. By becoming aware of your spontaneous mental and semantic associations, you will gradually be able to build a personal methodology which starts from your artistic practice and which corresponds to both your sensitivity and your cognitive imprint.

if you would love to start learning Modern Standard Arabic with the help of an experienced, methodological, and engaging Arabic instructor. I am always welcomed teach you dialect once you are more advanced!
However, since you will be an absolute beginner in Arabic, a working knowledge of ENGLISH is necessary (especially for explaining grammar intricacies).
i can say i am a teacher with previous language instruction experience and has obtained a degree/certification in linguistics or in Arabic instruction are highly preferred. Although native speakers with extensive knowledge of the grammar and syntax of the language to teach you^^

Additionally, I will be responsible for creating lesson plans and bringing my own materials to class (or inform me of which workbooks to purchase or use). me, as the teacher, must decide which concepts are covered in which lessons. You need to be highly methodological and organized.
In addition to language instruction, I hope you are willing to share my culture and teach you more about the diversity of Arab cultures. Arabic is a difficult language and laborious to learn, so show you how can make it fun and engaging!

If you are stuck with a design project, be it a house, a public building, a landscape, or even a piece of the city, I am here to help!
