My name is Miriam and I am an English tutor from the UK. I have a clear British accent and I have been tutoring English as a second language online for over two years. I love speaking with students from many different countries and sharing my advice and tips on how you can improve your English speaking.
My approach to English tutoring is practical and refreshing. I strongly believe that the best way to learn anything is to make it fun and engaging. Academic learning will always be important but there is so much more to the English language than text books. I will support you to learn English in a practical way that makes English feel memorable and functional. My aim is to help you feel excited and confident about speaking English.

I was home educated in the UK.
After my secondary education I immediately started working in the optical industry which involved both teaching training staff and customers.
I later came back to further education when I studied a distance learning course in Anatomy, Physiology and Pathology of the Human Body and attended a School of Complementary Therapies where I studied Massage Therapy.
