Biology for the European and International Baccalaureate

I am a qualified teacher of Biology and have taught the International Baccalaureate (IB) for 3 years. I have also taught KS4 Biology (iGCSE). My aim for these classes is to target topics and areas of the subject that the student may be having difficulty with and the pace will be set by the student.

I am a qualified teacher of high school Biology. I obtained by Undergraduate degree from Trinity College Dublin in 2009, my MSc from Queen's University Belfast in 2010 and my Diploma in Education from Trinity College Dublin in 2012. I have experience teaching IB Biology and have taught both standard and higher level. I also have experience teaching IB Environmental Systems and Societies (ESS) with 100% of my students passing and more than 50% of them achieving a level 6 or 7 in 2017. During my time teaching the IB I gained much experience in thoroughly preparing students for their Internal Assessments, with 100% of my students maintaining the provisional grade assigned to them after moderation from the IB.

I have a relaxed approach to biology tutorials, focusing on the student's needs and their pace. Tutorials will be online (via webcam) but I will also be contactable via email to provide speedy responses to student's questions outside of tutorials.
