As a graduate violin teacher, I offer music lessons. I'm 26 years old, and have BA and MA degrees in performing, MA degree in music education and I'm currently studying Historical Performance in the Royal Conservatory.
I have experience in teaching different levels and age groups, from beginner children and grown-ups to advanced youngsters, aged 5-55. It's a nice thing to help people get closer to an instrument and music, and be part of others' achievements! For children it's very useful to learn music because of its transfer effects, and for adults, it's also a good way of recreation, quiet from workdays and so on.

Über mich

I'm playing the violin since the age of 9 and studied with many excellent professors. Beside performing, my other passion is teaching. I love to work both with kids and adults, the age and the level doesn't matter. I love to meet new people from different places and with different interest, as these things all help to see the word from a new perspective.

I am a young, dynamic, and qualified teacher (Master in Music pedagogy & Master in Performance) giving:

I love to play and to teach my instrument. I play in different Orchestras, classical chamber music, and I improvise in contemporary music with body movement. I'm a professional violinist and teacher, who graduated from conservatories in Gdansk, Maastricht, and Brussels. I'm also a violin teacher at The British School in the Netherlands in Den Haag. My name is Uma and I am originally from Spain. I have been living in The Hague for the past five years. After completing a Bachelor’s degree in Modern Flute in Madrid and a Master’s degree in Zürich, I recently finished a Bachelor’s degree in Early Music and historical flutes at the Koninklijk Conservatorium The Hague. I am currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Music Education, which allows me to continuously refine my teaching approach.

Bassoon lessons:
In this lessons you will be able to learn how to play the bassoon, to blow and tune, to play in groups, understand the harmonic and melodic system of the interpretation of the different music styles. You will be able to learn how to make your own reeds and how to repair them.
Duration of the lesson is generally 60 minutes, but it can be always the student`s choice. The dynamics of the classes is focused on the interpretation and musical understanding, as well as the elaboration and maintenance of reeds, all looking for a positive, dynamic and fun environment.

Music Theory lessons:
Here you will be able to learn how to understand the composers and their music; historical and theorical reasons of why music is written in different ways during the evolution of music history. You will be also able to learn how to read and sing music. Composition skills are also available.
The duration of the lesson is under choice.

Both bassoon an music theory lessons can be combined.
